best described as overpriced camping in a unit style caravan Wood heater too expensive to run and too close to furniture for my liking Air con didn't work correctly so we were cold brick path to unit unpleasant at best of times but should have been built up as being a wet weekend it was covered in water and mud... The only thing that saved this trip away was that we were able to catch up with my family and have a nice get together - which was a pure delight. The accommodation was very run down and the staff were not interested in helping unless pushed, our time away seemed to be filled with incident after incident - ran... More

Wonderful rainforest beauty in a quite remote location. Kids were fascinated with an open fire in a fireplace in the lounge room. The downtime was that the wood wasn't provided, there is a gas station close by were you can by the wood at $15 a bag. The proximity of Montville and Maleni was a big plus, otherwise there is... We stayed here for two nights, on arrival we were greeted very warmly by Anne the heating was already on in our cabin a nice touch,it was lovely being in the forest if that's your thing,The staff were very helpful, however the place is a little tired and needs refurbishing saying that, our cabin was comfortable

Our experience here was not pleasant at all. My wife, 16 month old daughter and I, walked into our ‘secluded’ room (which wasn’t secluded by the way) after receiving the key only to find that the floor had not been vacuumed AT ALL. There were dead moths in the corners and in the open living space, our feet were also... More

Simply Amazing! This place is a real gem and we will definitely be back . The place is perfect for a romantic getaway with the cabins nestled in rain forest like surroundings. We had intended to cook dinner on the electric stove but instead opted for the bbq just outside the cabin entrance. My partner commented on how well presented... More

Me and my partner recently stayed in a rainforest cabin which on the website it was described as: "Rainforest cabins allow for maximum privacy, located deep in the rainforest and separate from other rainforest cabins." This was far from the truth and so misleading it's disgusting! We expected to have a private cabin away from other cabins in a secluded... More

This place has the potential to be an amazing retreat establishment. But it would require a complete revamp and change of ownership. We decided to stay here as it was the venue for a family wedding and with a baby we thought it would be good to have a unit near by so we could still attend the evening celebrations... More

We stayed overnight at Tanglewood Gardens and enjoyed the atmosphere of being in a cabin in natural rainforest country. It is not an orderly environment but it is naturally beautiful. The cabin we were in was roomy, very clean and contained all that we needed to self-cater. The barbecues on the verandah were another option for cooking. We only overnighted... More

This place is great to catch up with friends(6). There is a great BBQ at your cabin to do your own bacon and egg breakfast. Good size big outdoor area to share some nibbles before going to town for dinner. We shared a maxi taxi and went to Mapelton to a little Italien restaurant. Fare was one way $15 restaurant... More
