Stayed here for 3 nights in July and as we were checking in we were immediately told "you should have booked directly through us as you would have got a better rate' (we had not booked through the resort direct because I was under the impression where we had booked though was the 'best' rate). We both found the man... More

Had booked this place before reading reviews. Everyone is different from good to bad. We ended up a 1 bedroom Sunset with no sea view. My price range. It was after 3pm Saturday when we got there, so no reception. Lucky the "rude" man was there and gave me the code to get in, also saying should of received a... More

We were so lucky. Having planned to stay at Bundaberg we were given a tip by a local and headed to Bargara.Bargara is 11 k"s from Bundaberg and is on the coast. Our second stroke of luck was opting to stay at this luxurious complex. Friendly, obliging management made us feel welcome. We were given an ocean view apartment that... More

We booked an executive 2 bedroom through wotif, when we arrived the reception was closed, so we called a callcentre twice before a manager came down to check us in. He told us no executive 2bedroom rooms were available, so we were given a 2 bedroom. I found him quite rude, as he suggested this was our fault for booking... More

Room had no hot water! There was limited reception hours so we couldn't get on to anyone about it. Single beds were very narrow (reminded us of coffins!) and the kettle broken. Close to town and a good price. Shame they couldn't get the basics right.

Stayed in a sunset view 1 br apartment over a long weekend. Every night there were parties going on until the early hours and management did nothing to stop them. Our unit had all the basic but had sultanas under the couch and we encountered a cockroach on the lamp next to the bed.

I recently stayed at The Point Resort during the Easter Holidays. Great location with good views of the ocean, nice rooms and friendly staff at reception desk. My only complaint was the outdoor spa was absolutely stone cold, if not for a that issue I would have given the Point 5 stars. C.J

Arrived late afternoon. Asked at reception what price they had with ocean views and was disappointed . Relatives had stayed at Christmas time and raved about it. We booked into a 2 bedroom self contained ocean view room. We found it hard to pack up and leave after 3 days will be back to stay longer. Stayed late April .

My husband and myself have just had a 5 night stay at this resort and didn't want to leave. We were amazed at how clean it was for an older apartment block and no ants, spiders, mozzies or midges were experienced, which is a credit to the landlords. The beachfront is spotless and well catered for with Cafe's, undercover seating... More
