We just returned from a 2 night stay in the Bilby lodge. The lodge was very comfortable throughout, 3 beds, 2 with ensuites, plus there was 3rd bathroom/combined laundry. King size master bed, Timber floors throughout, raked cathedral ceilings. The combined lounge dining opens on to a large timber deck with amazing valley views, much better than I was anticipating.... Stayed here in April for a weekend with friends and have to say I was blown away by most aspects of the resort. The accommodation was far better than I had anticipated. Great lodge with everything you could possibly want, including a hot tub. Lots of local walks all marked out so even amateurs such as myself could get out... More

We stayed in one of the lodges to attend friends wedding. Accommodation is superb, large well equipped with great views. As we had travelled some distance we booked for 3 nights and spent the time after the wedding day just walking, taking in the great scenery, relaxing in the spa, and generally relaxing. Breakfast buffet was great, we knew that... More

Just spend 4 nights at Eaglereach for Easter with 3 young kids 6-8yo. The cabin was large, well equipped and the views gorgeous. We had lots of fun - kangaroos and giant lizards everywhere, yabby fishing (who would have thought it could be so much fun??), riding the buggy and great bushwalks. All simple but very homely and authentic. One... More

We have hosted our end of financial year conference at Eaglereach twice and both times have been exceptional. We take approx 40 employees for 2 nights and a full day conference and the venue is perfect. The staff are very accommodating and nothing is a hassle. We would highly recommend this venue for businesses who are looking to take their... More

Yes,the sealed road in is a little twisty but fine at the indicated speed. Once settled into the accommodation we found every convenience we required and a real feeling of seclusion in a natural bush surround with native animals so close-it was magic ! Oh I couldn't believe what I was reading and so far from the truth, this person must have a serious resentment for the wilderness. I had high hopes for our 3 night stay at Eaglereach Wilderness Resort after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor and viewing the website. A bushland retreat with views and wildlife, luxury rooms and beautiful food were all promised. We were visiting the region to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday and attend the Eagles show at Hope Estate. Before booking in... More

Dear Shano 71 Where does one begin to respond to this extensive opinion piece, readers would be forgiven to think that the writer stayed somewhere other than where the vast majority of guests who enjoyed their stay since TripAdvisor started and many are returning guests which along with "word of mouth" is our most popular source of business.
