This inn is amazing...I was not aware of the history...what a story behind the sale of the property and the renovations of the house. The rooms are all beautifully decorated and supplied. We stayed in the Four Quarters Room. The bed was very comfy and we slept well. The bathroom was a bit small, but has all the necessaties. I... More

It was beautiful, comfortable, and absolutely lovely. The breakfasts were delicious. I cut my food into smaller and smaller bites just so it would last longer. Kathleen and Troy went out of their way to make us feel welcome and plan out our time in the area. My only complaint is that our stay was too short (2 nights). The... More

Kathleen and Troy are such wonderful hosts. The rooms are all so cozy and beautiful but I stayed in Serendipity. What a wonderful room and the house is so full of history. I started the day off right with a gorgeous breakfast and a day of sight seeing that Troy mapped out for me. Everyone is so thoughtful, really you... More

From the time we drove up the long driveway to the House -- our stay was great. The room was wonderfully decorated with a very comfortable bed. The owners (Troy & Kathleen) and staff was immensely accomodating. The owners recommendations of restaurants and local activities was dead on. Really enjoyed the small town -- it was Norman Rockwellesque! Breakfast was... More

From the moment we booked the trip, until we left, we couldn't have asked for better service, food and accommodations. Troy and Kathleen took care of us like we were close friends. Troy called us while on the road to provide us with a back roads route to avoid traffic to his establishment, and asked if we had any food... More

Everything one would expect from a five star property and so much more. The host nd hostess, were beyond accomodating...they went the extra mile for everything. As a father traveling, hoping to make my wife, grandson and his girlfriend happy, I looked like a hero! The food was perfect, the rooms amazing and the grounds (in December) beautiful. I would... My fiancé and I stayed for two nights and look forward to doing it again. Troy and Kathleen are really great, the house is amazing, the rooms are beautiful, and the food delicious. If you need to get away for a few days we highly recommend the Chestnut Hill!

We stayed at Chestnut Hill at the end of November for two nights. My husband and I are very blessed in that we've been fortunate enough to travel extensively in the U.S and abroad. In many instances, we choose to stay in B&B's as opposed to hotels. I can say without reservation that Chestnut Hill is the most beautifully appointed... More

We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed ourselves both nights. Family members joined us for the second night. The layout allowed us to enjoy each other's company and the company if other guests very easily. The hosts were warm and welcoming. There is an amazing story behind how the owners created this special place. The beds were so comfortable none if... More
