This was a 1 night stop on a trip from Sydney to Melbourne. Tilba Tilba is a one horse village where the horse had so little to do it left for work... Indeed it is a place that just begs to be called Mamba-country [Miles And Miles from B Anywhere]. Green Gables is a small old-style wooden building. We were... More

I had seen many shows about living the country dream; The Green Gables is the accommodation that made that dream a reality. I spent a weekend there, and the service is well above my expectations of a bed and breakfast. Philip and Stuart were incredible hosts. What impressed me the most was how they shared their lifestyle with us- letting... More

We loved our recent stay at the Green Gables. My partner and I spent three rainy days there and Philip and Stuart could not have been more helpful hosts. Breakfasts were to die for and our dinner of chicken pot pie and cooked veggies from the garden was homely and delicious - just what the doctor ordered. Cups of tea... More

Green Gables lived up to all reviews and was a charming, heritage home in which to stay. Stuart and Phillip could not have been better hosts and although we only stayed for two nights, it felt longer and as though we were staying with friends. Dinner on our first evening was delicious, with home grown veg and a local wine.... More

It has been a few weeks since we visited Green Gables and we are now back home in a very wet and dark England where our fantastic holiday in Australia is more of a dream. in this dream however the way we were treated by Stuart and Philip remain in our memory as one of the better stays of or... We loved our brief stay at Green Gables. Stuart and Philip were tremendous hosts providing a BBQ supper before trooping off, and we with them, to a Carols service (it was just before Christmas) just along the road in a tiny wooden church on the hill with Stuart playing the organ. There was a great sense of community which transfers... More

A really comfortable room in a beautiful location with superb hospitality. We really enjoyed our one night (and delicious breakfast) at Green Gables in a relaxed environment with good company of Stuart and Philip and the other guests. Free internet access was a nice bonus too

My partner & I stayed for two nights. We were warmly welcomed by Stuart & Philip and greeted with tea and home made biscuits. Yes the tea facility is in a communal area, but it's not far to go to get a cuppa and the other guests we met in the lounge area were delightful. There are also chocolates and... More

To celebrate our wedding anniversary, we recently visited the NSW Eurobodalla and Sapphire Coast areas, choosing to stay at the Green Gables B&B. The south coast is as beautiful as ever. Our stay at the Green Gables was an excellent choice and we cannot praise Green Gables enough. My wife and I had a fantastic 2 night stay, loved the... More
