If you're looking for a trendy gastropub, this isn't it. If you want a terrific place in stunning countryside to stop for a bite to eat this is definitely where you should head. It's old style pub grub - hamburgers, chips, salads, calamari, pizza but it's all made on the premises and to order. There's loads of room for the... More

The back court yard and beer garden was very nice and country like. Great place for a drink and for the kids to run wild. My wife ordered a chicken burger, which wasn't even chicken breast. Some sort of process chicken slapped together with some lettuce on a Turkish bun. A three schooner awarded pub should be able to get... More

A fantastic old hotel with beautiful dining rooms, friendly staff, good service and delicious food. Most of us had a roast from their special board and it was fab. Generous portions and good value for money. Gardens out the back are gorgeous and perfect for a big lunch with friends and family. Loved it and would go back in a... More

With a bit of love and attention it could've been magical. Instead it's a tired looking room, with peeling paint, mismatched furnishings and without basic hotel luxuries like a telly, kettle, small fridge or soaps and shampoos. While usually I don't mind, I feel that when you're paying $150 a night you should be getting more than a bed in... More

Really nice garden out the back, reminiscent of the Scarborough Hotel (sans the stunning coastal views). Limited range of beer (and wine - although a reasonably good list of Southern Highland local wines). Definitely make a booking if you'd like to eat here... since there's very limited kitchen capacity. The staff were accommodating for special requests, for which we were... More

This hotel is in a lovely heritage village and has a great location. Staff were very helpful and pleasant but room was very disappointing. Small room, no television, no clothes storage, no fridge or tea making facilities-3 small shared bathrooms down the hall. Whilst the hotel was clean it had a damp musty smell and hotel rooms need a makeover.... More

Were recommended to call in on our way down the coast. Great location to sit out the back in the sun and have a beer. The pizzas we had for a light lunch, duck and Moroccan lamb, were really good too.

The location is great. The kids loved the open space being 1 & 3 along with being a sunny day, what a day to visit... The service - while not rude - was OK at best. The food was actually pretty good but waiting for close to 55 minutes for two pizzas & kids menu is crazy when there were... More

It has been a while since we have visited the Burrawang Pub as we have been living interstate, so it was with great fondness and nostalgia that we returned for a lunch having been walking the tracks at nearby Fitzroy Falls. The gardens are terrific, giving the children somewhere to run around and play whilst the adults enjoyed the sunshine.... More

As regular visitors to the Burrawang Village Hotel, we look forward to their usually excellent food. Today, however, proved the exception - and how. Their famous cheeseburgers were appalling - the meat seriously overcooked, the cheese cold, the bun hard and cold, the fries cold. In retrospect, we should not have gone there for lunch on the Saturday after Christmas;... More
