We were in nearby Bridgeport, Alabama for a Civil War reenactment and after having rain make our camp site a mud hole from an all day rain, we decided to motel it for the night. We picked this motel because it had a sign welcoming "The Blue and The Gray" and stating it was run by a Viet Nam Veteran.... more
We stayed at the Country Hearth Inn In Kimball, TN. and we were very impressed with the comfortable beds and the most delightful breakfast. The staff was very hospitable and helped us even map out our destination. We'll definitely go back. Best bang for the Buck!! more
If you like to sleep and rest with a room full of ants, then this is the place. We left the place about two hours after check in. Naturally, could not stay any where else due to the ants being in our luggage. Would not recomend staying here EVER!!!!!!!!!! more
I have stayed at Country Hearths before and they were OK. This one was SO nasty. The rooms are old and dirty and.. OLD. Fake wood paneling is on every wall. When the front desk clerk checked me in she had a burning cigarette hanging off her lip. The whole place reeks of smoke. I was scared to take off... more
