The hotel itself is quite nice. Our suite was roomy and panelled with dark wood. The a/c was in the sitting room and because of the shutters it was a little difficult to really cool it down in the room. The Tamarind is a fabulous beach hotel. The rooms, location, and beach are wonderful. We were worried that we would want a pool, but never missed having one. The service was great and the restaurant was lovely. The hotel had ample complimentary gear (bike, snorkel gear, kayaks, etc.). I'd go back in a second! more
