The hotel was what I always dreamed the caribians should be! We have been to many hotels in that area but the Tamarind Beach Hotel was really different : the food (thanks to Angelo and his staff), the atmosphere (mostly created by an outstanding and very competent young man by the name of Steven, the room division manager) and the... more

We were there for a week in March 2009. The weather was great. Beautiful location on a nice beach. The staff and management were outstanding and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The standard rooms were a bit smaller than we expected from the pictures on the web site so we upgraded to a suite, which... more

We spent four nights at this hotel earlier this month - and were seeking a quiet haven in order to chill out after being in Barbados for the cricket. The hotel is situated on a lovely beach of white sand and is right on the water's edge - and the ocean is warm, turqoise and inviting! There are no pebbly... more

I just returned from an incredible 4 days at the Tamarind Beach Hotel in Canouan Island. The hotel had just what I was looking for.....a beautiful beach, great food and an amazing staff. The island is only 5 square miles but there was lots to do to keep busy. We took a day trip via catamaran to the Tobago Cayes... more

I can't imagine a more perfect beach or easier acess to it. It reminded me of staying in Moorea...just blue water and powdery sand. The only drawback is the very expensive and restricted choices of food and drink. The beach is sandy and calm and large and just perfect. We loved it. more

We were met at the airport by the friendly hotel driver and whisked to the Tamarind Beach where we were greeted at the reception with a much needed cocktail. When we checked in we were upgraded to a Suite, which was superb and would definitely recommend booking this. The location of the hotel is absolutely stunning, the beach is huge... more

Our experience with the hotel started with Mr. Samuels. He answered all of our questions, and arranged our flight from Barbados. Everything went well,we were met at the airport by the hotel mini van, and welcomed at the hotel by the lovely ladies at the front desk and Oscar. Couldn't have been smoother! Oscar showed us to our room which was... more

Having been to Canouan five times in the past three years, I've become familiar with the island, its people, and facilities. I recently spent an entire month on Canouan (having lost my job, I needed time to think and re-evaluate my life.) A friend who is a Canouan native, found an inexpensive place for me to rent...from a married couple... more

Well...my husband and I just returned from the Tamarind and overall we enjoyed ourselves. It was definatly an adventure being that we traveled all the way from Texas. We flew into Barbados from Miami, then onto Canoan via Mustique/Grenadine/SVG Airways and the ride over on the charter was definatly one to remember! The pilot put up a sun visor in... more
