Owner Susan is an amazing host. I was immediately contacted after I made my reservation with detailed information about the guest house, the island and my arrival. Free pick-up and drop-off at the airport. A rarity. Highly recommended. Best customer service I've ever encountered.

We just left this morning, and already I miss Culebra! This is such a wonderful, peaceful place, and we enjoyed Palmetto Guest House, with our co-guests. Michelle picked us from the airport promptly, oriented us to the guest house and island. Our room was comfortable, and we had a refrigerator where we could store some amenities needed for our breakfast.... More

Loved our visit here. Michelle was on-site and made fresh coffee and pastries every morning. We made use of the microwave and kitchen, but meals are available upon request. Michelle was also an excellent source to help us navigate the island. Neat, clean and in a great location. Just far enough off the beaten path to truly enjoy your Culebra... More

I stayed at this hotel for 3 days while visiting Culebra over labor day weekend in September 2014. Very close to airport. Susan (the owner) met me at the airport with her red pick up truck and was very helpful. The hotel is only a short 5-10 minute walk from the airport (literally right across the street), so it is... this is the very best of guesthouses - affordable and friendly the rooms are clean and cool - kinda 'no frills' as it were but the things that matter were all present and correct - bed, a/c, wireless (fast), en-suite with shower, sink and toilet with a nice shared kitchen should you want to cook something we didn't but we... Palmetto Guesthouse is a guest house, that's what it is, so if you're looking for a 5 star luxury chain resort, know that it's not that kind of place. (Blessedly, Culebra is just not like that). You feel and stay as if you are visiting the comfortable, but not perfect (and it does not have to be by any means)... More

For the price the stay was very good. We had refrigerators for each room, beach towels, cooler, and snorkeling gear and chairs as loan. A kitchen and all needed foe cooking and eat was available for all the five rooms. The rooms were clean and cozy. We also have TV and DVDs, and a PC available for us. But no... More

On my second trip to Culebra we chose Palmetto House, practically two blocks from small airport. Susan, the owner, picked us up in her popular red truck. Room was small but normal and AC worked fine. Bathroom, towels, linens clean and plentiful. The muffins are still warm and all rooms have the fridge. We walked to town (20 good minutes),... More

This was my first time staying at this beautiful and cozy guesthouse. You feel just like home. It has a living room with awesome movies and a desktop computer with highspeed internet. The complementary authentic puertorican coffee is AMAZING. Loved the fresh baked muffins that Susan brings down every morning! The rooms are clean and smell fresh. Paul and Susan... More
