I cannot thank my hosts Terri & Mark enough for making this trip superb. This is a special place, I would say its the only unsullied Caribbean, which has all but disappeared everywhere else. Palmetto Guesthouse is a darling place to stay. I lodged in the Bougainvillea room, which was very comfortable, the queen bed was sumptuous and I slept... More

Terrie had great advice for us everyday. She knew exactly what we came to Culebra for and her helpfulness exceeded our expectations. The guesthouse is close to grocery store and a block away from the car rental place (which also rents Scooters!!! and beefed up golf carts for cruising the island). It is within walking distance to town where Terri... More

Everything about this gently but firmly managed guesthouse breathes its young owners' values and the spirit of Culebra- sustainability, cleanliness, comfort, and a rugged joie de vivre. Terrie and Mark answered all of our questions expertly, sending us to the beach with good directions and all the beach gear (including cooler, snorkeling equipment, and chairs) we needed at no extra... My boyfriend and I stayed at the Palmetto for 3 nights in March. Next time we will stay at least a week! This was our second trip to PR but first overnight stay on Culebra. We chose the Palmetto based off of online reviews and a few correspondences with Terrie. I truly cannot describe how wonderful the Palmetto is and... More

We had some friends visiting from the States and decided to spend some time in Culebra. Thanks to both Terrie and Mark, we had a wonderful stay. Upon our ferry arrival, Terrie cheerfully welcomed us at the dock. The free pick-up / drop-off service to their guest house is fantastic. And it's SO undervalued that if we were to catch... More

loved the Palmetto. The hosts were helpful, down to earth and had great suggestions. This place is a hidden treasure. We rented a golf cart for the week and we were off day after day on adventures. The snorkeling was amazing and Terrie told us the best eateries and hideaways. Loved the Palmetto. Will be back!

For my wife and me, the Palmetto Guesthouse was perfect. Mark and Terri are the perfect hosts. No matter what the question or the need, they had the answer. Their guesthouse is clean, neat and has everything you could want. Our goal was peace, tranquility and snorkeling and we found it all. The snorkeling is as good as you'll find... More

First off, Mark and Terri are amazing hosts. From my arrival to my departure, they provided everything I needed from my "innkeepers." Advice, rides, peace and a lovely space... what more could I have wanted? The property is lovely... but the island is even lovelier. I was on the island for four days and walked nearly everywhere. The Palmetto is... More

I stayed at Palmetto Guesthouse for the first time recently. My girlfriend has been raving about the place. She frequently travels to Puerto Rico for work. I reluctantly went to a friend's wedding in San Juan and decided to see what all the hype was about. I am from another small island in the Caribbean originally but live in New... More

I spent a week on Culebra with my wife in February and we had a blast from walking the beach at Flamenco, to snorkeling with sea turtles at Tamarindo, and biking out to Zoni beach (long but worth it!). For those thinking about a trip, going through some of the reviews for Palmetto and Culebra in general, there seems to... More
