I stayed in the Blue Room for four nights. It was a great experience. Mary and Dave are relaxed, informative, helpful persons. I walked downtown Dewey every day, but took the public van or small bus from the airport just down the hill to Flamenco Beach. Three bucks each way, but much cheaper than renting a car or golf cart.... More

When booking my room at the Lighthouse I received wonderful service. I was planing a special occasion for my girlfriend and I, so I called and texted Mary many times about the inn and things to do on the island. She was so nice and responded promptly and knowledgeably to my many requests even if they had nothing to do... More

Wow! Our room at the Lighthouse was super clean and comfortable. The owners Mary and David are truly sincere and thoughtful. They accommodated us with things we didn't know we needed...like beach chairs, a cooler, bug spray, a drying rack for our sandy swimsuits! Even a mini fridge and a coffee maker with delicious puerto rican coffee to brew. The... More

Me and two of my friends stayed at the lighthouse for our Spring Break trip in March 2013. The guest house is set up like a mini hotel; each room is private with a private entry. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. One of the owners (Marry) is an artist and hangs her personal artwork in each room and... More

My fiance and I went to Culebra (from Cali) this past New Year's Eve and stayed at the Lighthouse. I am originally from Puerto Rico, Flamenco Beach is my favorite beach and I have been to Culebra for NYE now on 3 occassions--- so you can say I am a seasoned Culebra visitor and have stayed at several different places... We first visited Culebra for 3 nights in May 2011 and I did not care for our lodging on that trip so we were very pleased to discover The Lighthouse. We really enjoyed our 4 nt. stay. The room and bathroom were clean, there was a small fridge, a microwave, a coffee maker, coffee, utensils, beach chairs and beach towels.... More

Nice hostel and hosts but the nights were tough. Roosters and birds wake us up at 4 in the morning. There are a bunch of them surrounding the guest house and at night it seemed we were sleeping in a zoo. Nothing can be done, alas, since they're wild animals, so prepare your ear plugs !

I stayed at the Lighthouse for four nights and had a wonderful stay thanks to the owners, Mary and David....They picked us up at the airport and gave a tour of the town before taking us back to their place. I recommend the Coral Room, it is spacious and very attractive. The property has a garden area with a table... More

Mary and her husband are great! The hotel itself is cute, clean, and very accessible into town. Since it is maybe a mile away from the center, it actually is quite nice because you don't have too much noise from traffic and everything else that happens in town late at night... It's perfect for a solo traveler or couples, and... More
