Shady but right on the best beach that I've ever been to. The camping sites are clean, clear and heavily naturally shaded. It is very quiet until the maintenance guys are removing seaweed debris from the beach. They started early (7am?) but it wasn't that much of a bother to be honest. Plenty of room to tie up hammocks. We... More

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at Flamenco Beach campground in Culebra. We loved it and didn't want to leave. Yes, it was a mission to get to Culebra on the ferry, but once we got there it didn't take long to forget about all of that. (Just as a side note- getting to Culebra on the ferry... More

Camping on Flamenco Beach was an unforgettable experience! Don't even worry about bringing your own gear! Camp with Michell! She provides a cozy set up with a 5 person tent, foam mattress, bug spray, sun block, toilet paper, everything you need while only being STEPS away from one of the most gorgeous beaches in the entire world! Sleep under the... More

This review is really similar to the one below it. I probably didn't need to write one at all but I figured more information's usually better. It was a bit of a bummer to learn that the campground is now $30 a night because the campgrounds were not too cozy. It was really great to wake up right next to... More

Great location obviously but there were a few things lacking. We are totally happy to "rough it" but we were disappointed with the lack of facilities for the price we paid. There were very few picnic tables that were already taken. No specific sites to set up tents so it's a free for all. Not sure why they increased the... More

I tried calling several times before our trip, but could never reach anyone to make reservations. So I was nervous when we arrived at 6pm with the internet gleaned knowledge that "You just pick a spot and you'll get a tag to pay in the morning." I asked someone taking out the trash and said to just head over to... More

As many other things in lovely Culebra, this place is delightful. A long and shady stretch of grassy/sandy ground right along one of the most beautiful Caribbean beaches. There are no crowds and plenty of space to pitch the tent literally steps from the shore and enjoy the beach 24/7, including one of the most spectacular starry skies I have... More

Just returned from 6 nights of camping at Flamenco. My husband and I brought backpacking packs, summer sleeping bags, a hammock, and the suits/clothes for the trip. We brought some snacks, but figured we'd have to go to town for food/grocery. To our surprise, there were about 8 solid kiosks with food. We'd been to Culebra years ago and remembered... More

My wife and I brought a hammock with us on our first trip to Puerto Rico so we could camp at Flamenco Beach. Sleeping between two palm trees on a white sandy beach looking out at Caribbean blue water was always a bucket list item for us and Flamenco lived up to the hype. Getting to Flamenco Beach is an...
