I tried calling several times before our trip, but could never reach anyone to make reservations. So I was nervous when we arrived at 6pm with the internet gleaned knowledge that "You just pick a spot and you'll get a tag to pay in the morning." I asked someone taking out the trash and said to just head over to... More

As many other things in lovely Culebra, this place is delightful. A long and shady stretch of grassy/sandy ground right along one of the most beautiful Caribbean beaches. There are no crowds and plenty of space to pitch the tent literally steps from the shore and enjoy the beach 24/7, including one of the most spectacular starry skies I have... More

Just returned from 6 nights of camping at Flamenco. My husband and I brought backpacking packs, summer sleeping bags, a hammock, and the suits/clothes for the trip. We brought some snacks, but figured we'd have to go to town for food/grocery. To our surprise, there were about 8 solid kiosks with food. We'd been to Culebra years ago and remembered... More

My wife and I brought a hammock with us on our first trip to Puerto Rico so we could camp at Flamenco Beach. Sleeping between two palm trees on a white sandy beach looking out at Caribbean blue water was always a bucket list item for us and Flamenco lived up to the hype. Getting to Flamenco Beach is an... I'm looking forward to my April 2014 camp trip to Culebra. 2013, I spent two weeks, end of January to first of February, on Flamenco Beach, Camping. I can barely wait to get back. I met so many amazing people, from all over the world: Poland, Germany, Italy, and US. The weather was perfect and the beaches fantastic. If anyone... More

We camped right on the beach! We camp a lot, but none was like this one. You get up in the morning to wonderful sunshine, and Azure water! its fantastic! There is a taxi service from the ferry too, making traveling very easy and convenient. They also have a little eating/ stall area for food. Dont miss the Pina Coladas... More

I don't know if there is another place like this in the Caribbean. I love camping and me and my girlfriend were trying to save money on our trip to PR so we decided to spend two nights here. It was well worth the $20 per night and I would have paid double that. It was busy when we were... More

You couldn't ask for more to be so close to the most beautiful beach in the world! I mean it was very different camping than usual, there wasn't any showers and the bathrooms never had toilet paper. I guess you paid for the location and not the accomodations! Would go again for sure! We stayed March 2007.

I think my title sums it up. There is nobody hassling you on the beach to buy something. (I'M VERY THANKFUL FOR THAT) Everybody minds their own business and they just take care of you when you ask. The snorkeling is really nice too in Tamarindo Beach (or bay). It's cheaper if you bring your own equipment and you buy... More

I recently got back from a trip to Puerto Rico. Much of that time (about a week) was spent at Flamenco Beach Campground. Although I found the water at the beach to be somewhat chilly in January, I was impressed by the beauty of the beach and the campground. I slept in area E, which was probably the most busy... More
