After 7 blissful days at the tryp the hotel was besieged by close to 500 Canadian teenagers on a trip(which we had not been warned about). Needless to say we were not impressed by the behaviour of theses people. To say they gave Canadians a bad name is an understatement. They drank and drank until some of them were choking... more

Just back from my 6th visit to Tryp Cayo Coco. Once again an amazing time was had. The mosquitos were definitly annoying but not as bad as the 300 high school grads who descended upon the resort. PARENTS what were you thinking??? What kind of gift were you giving your children??? If it was an experience of a life time... more

FOOD: Breakfast (Buffet)- Eggs/ omelets and bacon cooked right in front of you. Huge variety of fruits. Hash brown patties. “mystery nuggets” were my favorite (deep fried potato/cheese). Delicious croissants!! Lunch (Buffet)- Great selection. The same selection each day can get boring but there is no shortage of things to choose from. You have to try the stir fry, delicious... more
