i am having a hard time with reviews people are giving as they are very personal reviews. who cares if one pool is open? do you need 5? if the food is bland, get some salt and pepper and hot sauce! go to the table where they make pasta for you! eat a pizza! i wish people would give reviews... more

I stayed at NH Krystal May 28 - June 11 with my girlfriend and 2 other couples. First impression everything seemed great at the El Emperador check in. Upon arrival I found no one was too anxious to help you with your luggage. I guess the 1 or 2 dollar tip is not worth the bother.Check in was smooth. My girlfriend and I were there from April2-9th.......and both enjoyed the resort very much. Stayed on the Emperador Side......ground floor and the room was great .we had plenty of room...lots of hot water ...we were near the pool and the buffet restaurant and the bar for after dinner................only complaint we began to think the drinks were being watered down......................never got... more

Only half the resort open, only half the bars, only 1 out of 5 pools and only 1 out of 10 for service, don't try complaining, they don't listen and bring enough mosquito spray to spray your self every 15 minutes as it a deadly swamp not a lagoon and its the worst resort for mosquitos on the whole island,... more
