Ist thing to remember is that Spanish is Cuba's 1st language- We had a lot of problems as they didn't or pretended not to understand us.
Rooms-Not bad spacious but not cleaned very well daily.We had to have our room sprayed for bugs & the next day we noticed quite a few dead bugs around especially on the bathroom counter, as they must have fallen from behind the mirror- Those dead bugs remained there for the rest of the week!!!At other resorts they fog in the evening- This was NEVER done at Blue Bay! To say the least mosquitos were a VERY bad problem I had over 20 bites just on my legs alone! I tried to get Calamine lotion from the Medical station- Only to be charged the equivalent of almost $20.00 Canadian! Very annoying. We also noticed how thin & shody the walls/rooms were put together, as we had an adjoining room with my (senior 73 yr old) Mother. At night she would sleep with her bathroom light on for security reasons & we could see light shining through- Under...
