We stayed at Ivans Stress Free Campground last week. We has an awesome time. They have very basic cabins with a bed and a refrigerator and electricity which is nice to have at night. The campground was kept clean. The people were extremely nice. Natalie, Rene and Ivan were all very helpful with anything you needed. My husband and I... more

Wow! Ivan's is the coolest place I have ever been. If you are interested in truly a stress-free place in one of the most beautiful settings in the world, check it out. Also hit the Thursday night BBQ with live music, the food is amazing and Ivan and crew are the nicest people around. The sleeping cabins are really cool... more

Ivan has just finished a building just above the campgrounds with two apartments. The top is a 1 bedroom that could easily sleep 4 and the lower is a studio. The views are really great - we were there for his Easter Regatta, so there were loads of boats on "that side" of White Bay, where it is normally much... more

My boyfriend and I just spent five nights at Ivan's Campground. We spent our days diving or snorkelling, avoided crowds, and mostly made our own food. ----Camping---- We tried calling to make a reservation, but if you're staying in a baresite, just show up and don't worry about it. We lugged a tent to the campground with us, which made... more

Was there with a friend - a "girl's long weekend". We had such a relaxing, fun time. The cabins are perfect for what we needed - rustic, secluded paradise. Want to go back with my boyfriend and get married there - under the big tree! more

I just recenlty returned from BVI's and stayed at Ivan's Stress Free Bar for two nights in a small cabin (65 Canadian/per night) and I definitely have to say this is the place to go. I have just read the other reviews and agree that this place is not a five star resort but that was really the last thing... more

Four of us (in our early 50's) pitched tents at Ivan's campground for a couple nights. His place is for the young at heart or maybe even the 'tragically hip'? We loved our time with Ivan and his staff. Yes, as far as accomodations, it is definately primitive. But, if you have a tent, $25 per night is as cheap... more

My husband and I were on Jost Van Dyke in April 2005 for 6 nights and stayed at Ivan's. White Bay Campground and the whole island of Jost Van Dyke is really beautiful. We had a great time, but no, it's not for everyone. You cannot expect a private bathroom with long hot showers. You do need to bring insect... more
