This delightful small hotel is without a doubt the best place to stay on the Ile d'Orleans near Quebec City. It is located on the western tip of the island, with nice views of the St. Lawrence river. Check in was easy - thank you Julien. We had one of their deluxe rooms with a deck, gas fireplace, good TV... More

We stayed at this delightful auberge in August 2015 - the rooms were delightful , all with a view onto the St.Lawrence River - We could hear the waves lapping at the stone wall during high tide. The rooms are furnished in antiques and are lovely. There are several little nooks located around the hotel where you can sit and... More

The Auberge la Goeliche has a great location in Ste Petronille. The property has a very scenic location on the river. The grounds and pool are very attractive. Our room was comfortable and well appointed. The staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant had very good food and friendly and professional service.

The accommodations were nice, cozy comfortable and the spot is fantastic. It's located directly on the St. Lawrence river. However, the food is average. I expected a lot more from this place for the price that we paid. I thought the food would be better than advertised. The service was very, very slow and we were not impressed. I paid... More

The Ilse D'Orleans was thick with snow, absolutely freezing and largely closed over the New Year holidays. We chanced upon the Auberge when about to drive back to Quebec City desperate for lunch. Despite a closed sign, they obliging let us have lunch in their restaurant although we weren't staying there. What a position, perched on the edge of the... More

My wife and I stayed at this fine hotel in Sept. '14. The room we had faced the river and we could watch cruise ships steam by. The setting of the rooms, the reception and dining area are exquisit. Yes, all is somewhat pricy but in Quebec City proper it is in no way any cheaper. The restaurant stands out... More

Nestled across the bridge across from the famous waterfalls is an amazing island east of Quebec City called Ile d'Orleans. Located on the the point of St. Petronille and the St. Lawrene River is an amazing hotel that is a little bit of paradise, Auberge La Goeliche. We arrived late in the evening around 4:00. Checkin was quick and easy... More

We arrived on Ile d'Orleans on a Sunday afternoon with no reservations, and no pre-conceptions as to what we would find. The tourist information staff located a room for us at Auberge la Goeliche in Ste.-Petronille, just a short drive from the bridge. What a room! Views of the river from two directions, a balcony large enough for two zero-gravity... More

Excellent room. Friendly and helpful staff. We were just sorry that our schedule didn't allow for a longer stay. Would have liked to take advantage of the dining room and patio. Will definitely return at the earliest opportunity. A great location from which to explore a fabulous island.

15 minutes from downtown Quebec. We did the package hotel, dinner and breakfast. Hotel rooms are just wonderful, great atmosphere, all with view over the St. Lawrence. Dinner is special. All dishes are so beautiful to look at and the food tastes superb!! The wine selection is large, but a bit pricey. Breakfast same as dinner...just wonderful. For a weekend... More
