We spent 2 nights at The Tides Inn at Norris Point as our base for the Gros Morne experience. Have to say we preferred the quietness and smaller size of Norris Point compared to Rocky Harbour. Great view from all 6 rooms, but the 2 rooms upstairs are larger and have private balconies. The 4 rooms on the lower level... More

Eventhough it was the offseason, this was a lovely place to stay. The room was very clean with two comfy queen beds. There was a minifridge and a microwave which were handy since most of the restaurants were closed. The room had a private balcony overlooking the harbour. Would definitely stay there again.

This is a small (6?) units on the water. It has few services but delivers a basket of breakfast food (oatmeal, yoghurt, juice, breakfast bars, fruit) to your room in the afternoon and has little kitchens to allow basic cooking and refrigeration. Rooms were a good size - we had 2 queen beds - and slide open the door to... More

Walkingdistance (even after a long day hike ) from restaurant Justin Thyme and a convinience... More

I choose Tides Inn for its more remote location on Bonne Bay. We stayed for two nights in room 5-a second floor king room/suite. The room is large, small Kitchenette area with sink, fridge, coffee maker, hot water kettle and plates and cutlery. Based on previous reviews we brought extra supplies to supplement the supplied continental breakfast--they were not needed.... More

Wish we'd booked longer than our scheduled two nights at this little treasure of a place. Great location to explore Gros Morne. Fantastic views from the quiet deck overlooking Bonne Bay. We stayed in room 1 which is wheelchair accessible and has two queen beds with plenty of room to add a foldaway bed for an additional child. The staff... More

We had a main floor room with 2 queen beds, extremely clean, spacious and comfortable. But the best part was the view - loved sitting out with a glass of wine watching the harbour - Norris Point is such a pretty town - loved it! The breakfast basket was perfect for us - appreciated having apples, fresh muffins, bran bars,... More

The Tides Inn is unassuming from the road, but the rooms all have great views of the bay and Tablelands. We stayed for 3 nights in one of the rooms on the first level which was very nice, but I saw the suites upstairs which were particularly lovely and spacious. Norris Point is a very nice town, with much less... More

Our family chose the Tides Inn as our base for exploring Gros Morne National Park for three nights based on the reviews here and we were not disappointed. The room was meticulously clean and featured two luxurious king sized beds, overstuffed pillows, a small refrigerator, a huge Jacuzzi tub, and a commanding view of Neddy Harbour. After spending exhausting days... More

We had a room with a view, it was nicely furnished and laid out. Breakfast was self-serve, cereal, yogourt, fruit, etc. We stayed two nights and were quite satisfied. We did a short drive to Rocky Harbour for evening meals.
