Check in was rather awkwardly through a desk in the rear of the adjacent shop, itself rather distant from some of the accomodation. The cabin itself was a bit dated, but perfectly outfitted and very clean, with full kitchen, sitting area, small bedroom and nice bathroom. The huge "living room" windows look out over the bay. Laundry facilities are nearby,... More

Stayed at these cabins in October. Beautiful view. Cabins are spacious and very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The cabins are well equipped with fridge, stove and, microwave, and bbq. It would be helpful to include a few of the basics (a roll of paper towels, coffee filters) the cupboards though. Overall a... If you are touring Gros Morne and tired of restaurant food this place is just the ticket. All the roomy squeaky clean cabins have a kitchenette. Food can be purchased in small quantities in the hotel store and there is a large fish market about a block away. The view of the harbour is great. The people who work there... More

the good: on check-in, the cabin was spotless and even smelled clean. The bathroom had been recently remodeled and updated. The cabin had picture windows in both the bedroom and living/dining room overlooking the cove. the bad: No filters provided for the coffee maker, no paper towels, $20 per night "cleaning fee" if you have pets (even though they clean... The cabin our family stayed in was nice. It had a nice view of the light house across the bay. When the sunset behind it, it was beautiful. The beach area was disappointing as there was a large amount of sea weed. When we were near the sea weed, it had a strong odor. The cabin did had a nice... More

These cabins were a real treat. If you've never tried one, these would be a perfect choice! They were extremely clean, nice size rooms, great sitting area with 2 couches looking out over a huge green lawn and beautiful Rocky Harbour. A fully equipped kitchen and table for 'do it yourself meals' - a very nice alternative to B&Bs. A... More

Rocky Harbor is a great middle ground for exploring all the park, with all the amenities a traveler needs.. gas station, restaurants, laundry, convenience stores. And Gros Morne Cabins is one of the nicest places to stay for independent travellers. We were up and out with the sun each day and not back until after dinner so this cabin worked... More

My husband and I stayed the weekend with another couple of friends in a two bedroom cabin. We were perfectly comfortable for the weekend of hiking that we had planned. We cooked every night and found all the necessary pots, glasses, toaster, coffee machine etc. We brought our dogs with us and felt they had a great time as well.... More

Stayed 7 nights in 2 bedroom cabin. Great location. Great view of Rocky Harbour. Wonderful play-structure for kids. Handy to store, and just down the street is a great place that sells fresh seafood at pier. Our cabin was clean, a little out-dated. No place whatsoever to hang wet towels after a shower, so towels were hanging on furniture to... More

We chose to stay at Gros Morne Cabins in Rocky Harbour as a base to visit Gros Morne National Park. When we arrived, it was cold and rainy and the drive in from Deer Lake Airport was long and uneventful. We didn't know what to expect when we drove up to the property, but the minute we checked in and... More
