A last minute trip was scheduled to The Inn at Onancock during the Martin Luther King holiday weekend. Just imagine staying a few nights at a restored Victorian with top class service, sleep quality and cleanliness. It is obvious that Kris and Lisa put love and care into their B & B. We stayed in the Provence room with a... More

It's impossible to add new information to the 115 good reviews that have already been posted about the Inn at Onancock. My wife and I stayed there over Thanksgiving, and had Thanksgiving dinner with Lisa and Kris and another couple. The food was fantastic; the company was delightful; the lodgings were clean, warm, and comfortable; and the town was charming.... More

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Inn at Onancock. The B&B has been beautifully restored, and maintains the original features and charm of the house. We had a very nice room (The Provence), and enjoyed the evenings relaxing by its fireplace. There is also a great library with a big screen TV, which we also took... More

We just returned from exploring the Eastern Shore from Cape Charles to Chincoteague Island. This was our first trip but it definitely will not be our last. We chose the perfect place to stay overnight at the Inn at Onancock. Our room, Tuscany, was bright and spacious with a 4 poster bed and the Blueberry French Toast for breakfast was... More

We stumbled upon "The Inn at Onancock" while on a great adventure this past September in the Chesapeake Bay area. Lisa and Chris were so accommodating with our large truck, kayaks and road bikes. This bed and breakfast is smart, beautifully appointed with wood floors and gorgeous art work. This is not your average run of the mill B&B. We... More

We just had our second wonderful long weekend at The Inn. We travel to the Eastern Shore every October for the Between the Waters bike ride, and this is our favorite place to stay. Lisa and Kris are great and friendly hosts, and the breakfasts are wonderful. The "wine down" at 6 p.m. starts the evening out right, and there... More

The Inn was lovely. The hosts and food were great. The location is perfect it is right in this cute small town. The breakfast was so amazing, I bought the cookbook. We went there for an anniversary and it was perfect! Highly recommend it!

There are so many wonderful things to say about The Inn At Onancock and the innkeepers, Lisa and Kris LaMontagne, that we could not possibly list all of them here. And we second all of the positive comments from previous reviews. This beautifully restored and updated 19th century corner lot home has real curb appeal. Right away, the wraparound front... More

Town of Onancock (oh-NAN-cock) seemed a little tired, but then we were off-season. The Inn was definitely a bright spot. Don't miss the "wine down" hour with the Inn's incredibly gracious and friendly hosts! It was a lovely to sit in the parlor and talk with all the guests - such a relaxing change of pace from the usual anonymous... More

Take a weekend getaway to Onancock, VA to relax. It's like a Caribbean island an hour away from Hampton Roads, everything is slower and everyone is nicer. This must be the nicest place to stay in the area, the owners and usual inn-keepers were away, but Walt and Jeannie did not miss a step! They were great hosts. As previous... More
