This is a Select Registry Inn, which means I had pretty high expectations and the inn met those and more. It is a lovely building with spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. The owners were very accommodating, even with our finicky breakfast requests. Onancock itself was disappointing, clearly a struggling out of the way small port town. But if you are... More

We loved our stay at the Inn at Onancock! Kris and Lisa were such a joy to get to know. The food was unique and outstanding. The Winedown hour was a lot of fun. The stay was very comfortable. Every detail of the Inn was attended to. Classic feel, but everything was updated. We even had heated towel racks in... More

We had the Tuscany Room and found it to be very comfortable and quiet. Each day started with a GREAT breakfast prepared by Lisa. Kris and Lisa provided us with great ideas for exploring the VA. eastern shore. Will we be back? For sure. We would like to try some of the other rooms in the fall. Had a great time!!!!!!!!!

I had a 2-night stay in the Provence room here two weekends ago - I could not have been more pleased! What a wonderful experience - it's a beautiful property with fabulous hosts. Lisa and Kris go out of their way to make sure it's a first class operation. I will be back one day!

I extended my stay because this grand historic house is so comfortable and the innkeepers are so hospitable. Onancock is a quaint old town on the bay with interesting shops and restaurants. I took a day trip to Tangier Island (in the middle of the Chesapeake Bay) on a small ferry that departs from Onancock. Tangier was settled in the... More

I used The Inn at Onancock as my base while I started on cleaning out a family property on the shore. Kris and Lisa were wonderful hosts and made what could have been a very stressful weekend very relaxing. Food is wonderful - they even took into account my dislike of eggs when planning the breakfasts during my stay ;-)... More

We selected The Inn at Onancock as our destination getaway for our 50th anniversary celebration largely based on the reviews on TripAdvisor and there were no disappointments. It is an absolutely charming B&B located in the heart of Onancock, convenient to all restaurants, attractions, and the wharf for the boat to Tangier Island. The rooms are beautifully decorated, roomy, well... More

Three sisters on annual getaway were blessed with this wonderful find in the historic village of Onancock. The inn is superbly run by a terrific couple, Kris and Lisa, who helped make our stay perfect, from the comfortable, tasteful surroundings to many fine touches, including robes, heated towel racks, designer bath products, a "wine down" hour...and gourmet breakfasts. Topping it... More

A last minute trip was scheduled to The Inn at Onancock during the Martin Luther King holiday weekend. Just imagine staying a few nights at a restored Victorian with top class service, sleep quality and cleanliness. It is obvious that Kris and Lisa put love and care into their B & B. We stayed in the Provence room with a... More
