Met at door by Melinda and shared a good laugh which was great way to start our stay. The rooms were comfortable but not elaborate. Breakfast was simple but met our needs. A bit more heat in the room would have made our stay better. Overall a good B&B.

There are several places to stay in Twillingate, but we chose this one based on previous reviews. The room was small, but adequate. We had two single beds and an en suite bath. Everything was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Parking was tricky, but we always seemed to find a spot. The breakfast was good, but not outstanding.... More

No, not Psycho, but a very dangerous situation with tempering hot and cold water: it doesn't. Very slight changes in use of water outside of room had a substantial effect on whether the shower put out frigid or scalding water. Literally scalding! More than a few seconds subjected to the hot water would cause first or second degree burns. Someone... More

This is an old house that lacks the charm of a really nice b&b. The room decor, bedding and Window treatments are early Walmart. The breakfast is spartan, eggs with no meat, potatoes, help yourself to cold cereals, bread, one jam. Holiday Inn does better with no charge. The bed was hard and the shower ran hot and cold. The... We spent one night here and found it very comfortable lodging. Melinda was terrific, so friendly and out going and made us feel right at home from the minute we stepped inside. She was also great with information of the area. Our room faced the harbour, very nice view. The room had a window seat which was handy. Bed was... More

This definitely was not up to the standard of others we stayed in in Nfld. The rooms were clean, but ours had a soaker tub taking up a corner of the charmless bedroom, sitting on an area of really ugly linoleum. Sitting on the porch allowed a view of every vehicle which passed-- about 3 feet away, and we were... More

I stayed here for two nights and could easily have stayed a week. The room was delightful! Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, with a window seat perfect for reading and a dormer window overlooking the harbor. The inn itself is on a small hill so you have a nice view. It's within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Melinda, the manager,... More

My family & I (wife & two young daughters) spent the first night in Newfoundland at the Harbour Lights Inn in Twillingate starting our roundtrip in Newfoundland. We arrived late and did not know what to expect. We were tired and it was dark, cold and raining. And here we go. We had a very warm welcome, felt at home... More

Lovely hosts, cozy rooms. View into the bay was beautiful. Was here for a business trip and decided to take a tour of the Icebergs, which is a must do!! WiFi was intermitent, so being a business trip was not condusive to this. Breakfast was ok, however was expecting more than a continental style breakfast. I would stay here again.

I actually did not stay at the Inn. I had not made any reservations and I arrived in Twillingate late in the evening. I think I may have disturbed the owner as I rang the bell twice. She came out and explained they had no vacancies. She then got on the phone and called other businesses. She managed to find... More
