We stayed in the Captain`s Legacy two nights and wished for more. It is the perfect B&B experience. The hosts are welcoming and relaxed, treating guests like best friends. The roomy house allows all guests to gather in the dining room to share the fantastic breakfast and share stories. Everything we ate was home made and delicious, especially the scones.... More

This B&B had a great setting overlooking the water. The rooms were good and we had good interaction with the other guests and the hosts. We planned are days based on these interactions and really enjoyed Twillingate because of that. We had lots of questions and Ron and Rita had the answers. The breakfast was outstanding. The Captain's Legacy B&B is in an old 1800's house on a quiet cove on the way out of Twillingate to Durrell. Very quaint and nautical, wonderfully decorated, with all the amenities. We stayed in the Captain's Quarters, the best room in the house we believe, with a view of the cove, ample room and a bathroom big enough for... More

If your in Twillingate this is great value and Ron & Rita are great people. Unfortunately we couldn't get the queen bed as it was already booked but the room we had was just fine. The breakfasts were very well prepared and always hit the spot with all courses. We were able to run day trips from here with no... More

Wonderful, wonderful couple that runs this B & B. You get to choose your delicious breakfast and the breakfast room is so beautiful! You have a wonderful view of the water sitting on the deck. The house is old, quant and beautifully decorated. There's a big "but" coming here...we wanted to sleep till about 7am, but the couple in the... More

My husband and I stayed at Captain's Legacy for two nights in July 2013 and really enjoyed our stay. We stayed in the Elizabethan room and it was very clean and had everything we needed. The room was very quiet and had a nice view of the ocean and the other side of town. Breakfast was great and we were... More

Good choice for Twillingate. This is an old house that is beautifully kept, exceptionally clean and very quiet. We had the Captain's room which was perfect, large comforable bed and a view of the water. Breakfast was very good, especially the scones! Our hosts were friendly and helpful. Don't miss the lighthouse which had a fascinating exhibit about the Titanic.... More

This was a good choice for our stay in Twillingate. The house is in a quiet residential setting but conveniently close to the centre of town. Our room, the Elizabethan, was at the front of the house with a nice view over the water towards the harbour and the fishing fleet. Although not large, it was comfortable with a very... More
