We were disappointed that we couldn't open the windows. The room was hot and the only option was putting on the noisy ineffective fan. However, the room was very clean and the staff were friendly. We had a wonderful dinner in the dining room, however breakfast was quite meagre - no yogurt or granola - only packaged cheap cereals, lacklustre... More

Last minute decision, two bedroom, sharing a bathroom. Price included a continental breakfast, in the restaurant which overlooked the harbour. Pretty view. Rooms appeared to be newer, clean and comfortable, however NOT sound proof. Heard the group below us singing. People walking down the halls also made floor pounding noise. Enjoyable just the same.

I stayed at the Anchor Inn in August along with several members of my family. Unfortunately we were only able to stay one night in wonderful Twillingate. We were in a 2-bed suite in the upper portion of the hotel. The suite was very well appointed with everything you'd need for a short stay. One of the highlights was dinner... More

We stayed only one night here in July. The receptionist was helpful and very friendly. Our room was adequate and the bed the most comfortable on our trip. The dining room was another story. We had dinner there and we were not impressed. Over cooked and not very flavoursome. We found the waiting staff not friendly or helpful. Breakfast was... More

We stayed in a one bedroom suite in the upper building. Had a view of Twillingate Harbour. Was very clean. Kitchen was well stocked with pans, utensils, etc. Office staff was very friendly and helpful.

We stayed with another couple at the Hilltop Suites for a couple of days in June, 2014. The stay was excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, very comfortable and had a beautiful view of the bay. Georgie's Restaurant (located at the hotel) was also excellent. We had breakfast and service was very slow (someone didn't come to... More

A lovely small hotel with well-appointed suites. I was first in Room 3 and realized that rooms 1-3 are very close to the lobby and the doors are very poorly soundproofed. You could hear every front-desk conversation. Second night I was in room 4. It was further from the lobby but again the hotel was very noisy. You could here... More

We had a wonderful three day stay in the Hilltop Suites in July, 2014. The reservations were handled very well. Our room was ready on our mid-day arrival. The suite was very clean with 2 rooms with comfy Queen beds, and a pull-out sofa in the living area. The kitchenette was well equipped and the living area comfortable. Very clean... More

This was a clean room which is important. Best to get a room on the Oceanside if you want a view. People were very nice and very accommodating. The Captain's Pub was a great place to meet people and enjoy the evening. The bartenders are amazing and there is entertainment there most nights during the summer. If ever in Twillingate... More
