We had a wonderful three day stay in the Hilltop Suites in July, 2014. The reservations were handled very well. Our room was ready on our mid-day arrival. The suite was very clean with 2 rooms with comfy Queen beds, and a pull-out sofa in the living area. The kitchenette was well equipped and the living area comfortable. Very clean... More

This was a clean room which is important. Best to get a room on the Oceanside if you want a view. People were very nice and very accommodating. The Captain's Pub was a great place to meet people and enjoy the evening. The bartenders are amazing and there is entertainment there most nights during the summer. If ever in Twillingate... More

Good hotel, rooms are plain, but good. Everything was clean. Within walking distance of just about everything. Friendly staff, a whole bunch of lawn chairs to enjoy a sunny evening with a book, outside.

We stayed 1 night in the building behind the main part. It was better than most I bedroom apartments. It is very large with a well equipped kitchen. The finish in our unit was top notch. There is no AC but the 2 fans were ok considering it was very hot. The WiFi was excellent. We would recommend the breakfast... More

...but by the fact that, when we booked we weren't told that the restaurant is closed on Mondays. We only had one night (Monday, obviously) in Twilingate and very much based booking the hotel on the fact that its restaurant is so highly regarded. Given the rest of the choice in Twilingate, I would say the hotel is good. In... More

We recently stayed at the Anchor Inn for a couple nights while on vacation. I'd definitely recommend it - clean, nice staff, well supplied, very quiet at night, comfortable bed, good a/c, good wireless, good location, pub and restaurant on site. We didn't have a chance to try the restaurant, but the pub was pleasant and the fried shrimp were... More

So this might show my age but back in the mid 80's I was a sales rep in the central Newfoundland area and stayed at the Anchor Inn several times while doing business in Twillingate. Last night was the first night I have been in Twillingate since then. The Anchor Inn has been so upgraded since then I hardly recognized... More

First of all, there aren't any upscale hotels in Twillingate so this was the best to choose. The people are friendly. The room was clean. There are great views of the harbor. While we were at the front desk the phone ran off the hook with people looking for reservations. There weren't any so I would suggest reserving well in... More

We were travelling with another couple so got a two bedroom suite which was actually above the motel on a cliff ! The view was amazing and the patio was great to sit and enjoy a glass of wine! Our two bedroom suite was spotless and very very clean! The beds! OMG! The most comfortable all four of us have... More

No word of a lie the beds in room 10 were the absolute most comfortable hotel beds either of us have ever slept in. The air conditioning was very welcome at the end of our day in the 29 degree sun. The front desk staff were friendly and kind. The service in the restaurant was excellent. Our server came over... More
