My partner and I spent a lovely few days in this glorious part of Wales. Our hosts were very accommodating and provided lots of tasty treats to welcome us in the cottage. The place is teaming with wildlife and is so lovely and peaceful , nestled down the end of a private lane. To top it all is a hot... More

My partner, myself and our two dogs spent a lovely week here relaxing amongst the quiet and the guinea fowl. The hosts Sally and Russell were very welcoming, the cottage had an abundance of character and the personal touches made it feel like a home. The wild flowers vased in the window, the cosy blankets and the friendly wildlife all... More

Firstly, we have only given a 4* for Blaenfforest Cottage as we have already booked Blaenfforest Granary for next year & having viewed The Granary while we stayed at The Cottage we know that it is even better than The Cottage. So, as there is no Trip Adviser mark higher than 5* there was no other choice with mark !!!!... More

We have just returned from our stay at the cottage and we are very sad to have left! If you want to find somewhere to get away from the stresses of life, this is the perfect break for you! Sally and Russell have created a little haven and it's plain to see how hard they have worked to ensure their... More

We spent a lovely few days at the Granary at Blaenfforest. Originally old farm buildings, the cottages have been re-furbished to a very high standard with good quality furnishings throughout. Thoughtful touches by the hosts Sally and Russell (who were friendly but unobtrusive) - fresh eggs, bottle of wine and chocolates were a welcome treat. Lovely bedlinen, big beds and... More

Just returned from a weeks holiday at Blaenfforest Granary. The setting is a peaceful, green haven. Loved the woodland walk with gentle stream running through. Loved the pond and beautiful gardens. Loved the daily visits from peacocks, peahens and guinea fowl. The cottage is beautifully furnished, spotless and very well equipped. We all loved the hottub!! Sally and Russell were... More

Our family of four stayed in the Granary, whilst the Grandparents stayed in the Cottage. We had a lovely relaxing stay. The Granary was perfect for our family, and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub at the end of the day. It is immaculately clean and very tastefully decorated with everything you would need, particularly in the kitchen. Very thoughtful... More

My husband and I stayed in the Granary with our 3 year old daughter. The accommodation was a very high standard and all the attention to detail and extra touches made it extra special. The hot tub was amazing! Sally and Russell were very friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble.
