We didn’t stay at the hotel however we had dinner and a lunch during our visit to the island. The setting on Gott Bay is fairly isolated even in terms of Tiree but it provides a great opportunity to blow the cobwebs off with a walk along the huge beach before or after eating. Dinner was in the restaurant or... More

Didn't stay here but ate one evening on our 3 day visit. We were looked after by a lovely smiley helpful waitress who also appeared to be running the bar. She was exceptionally busy but took it all in her stride and was chatty to everyone whilst still efficient. The food was hot, fresh and tasty and very reasonably priced.... More

The Lodge Hotel is set on the most stunning white sandy beach with turquoise sea on the lovely island of Tiree in Argyll. Sadly the stunning location is not reflected in the rather tired decor and shabby but not chic furnishings. I believe it is being renovated. Some effort has been put into the simple lunch menu basic soup/ciabatta/plus chips.... More

Thank you for your review . The hotel is in need of refurbishment and our hope is that will happen over this coming year . The soft play area is a community owned soft play area that we provide the space to accommodate it, so the young families from the island have a warm space in which to use it... More

Although I didn't stay at the Lodge I had food both night of my stay on the island and would highly recommend eating there if you are visiting . Had one of there burgers best I've had and a lovely portion of beer battered haddock , and all the staff I met very friendly and helpful.

At last Tiree is getting a hotel which is worthy of the island. New owners have been in place for a few weeks and already a lot of work has been done. There is much to do but great efforts are being made. The food was super. Not your modern small pretentious portions but good quality and more than enough.... More

Tiree Lodge overlooks a stunning, long sandy beach, so it's location is awesome. The hotel is being renovated and, as we didn't stay here, cannot comment on the rooms. We did have a beer in a rather intriguing bar and then went into the dining room for dinner. Our window table gave us a wonderful view. However the service was... More

We couldn't get into the other place on Tiree.. which was hardly surprising in the end. No one about when we arrived although a dozen potential customers. Someone appeared saying they were short staffed and she'd been in the kitchen - considering we were booked that seemed odd. Anyway I only wanted fish and chips and it was cold and... More

We came across this hotel when looking for alternative accommodation while visiting Tiree recently and so glad we did. It is currently under going renovation so some areas are still a little tired but once all the work they intend to undertake is complete it should be a really lovely hotel as it is in a stunning location overlooking a... The hotel it self is rather tired, but sits at the head of a spectacular white sandy beach. I stayed at the hotel for two nights with my two girls aged 10 and 6. Our room was clean and tidy and the food first class. The staff were very friendly and attentive, as were the locals. There appears to be... More

AVOID at all costs!!! Went in for lunch and should have turned on my heel. Dirty table, served by what looked like the handyman - with paint stained work trousers. In fairness, I ordered the fishcakes which although over cooked, were palatable. Overlooks a beautiful beach.
