Stayed here in late April and was delighted by the kind and friendly hosts Betty and Kenny. Breakfast was a joy with potato cakes and the best black pudding we have ever tasted - Stornoway apparently. The views from the lounge across the bay to the west were lovely. The location next to Achamore gardens was perfect. Rooms were spotless... More

Betty took us into her home and made us welcome. The tea and cakes as we arrived were most needed!! The breakfast were excellent, made better for being able to watch them being cooked. We will be back.

Okay so where do I start here? My girlfriend and I decided to cycle around Arran, go to Kintyre and then spend the night on the isle of Gigha - very naively. In fact, we didn't manage to catch the last ferry that would take us to Gigha. Nonetheless we thought that by the harbor we would be able to... More

What an experience! On arriving we were met by Betty and Kenny and grandson Harris. They served us with a pot of tea and homemade cakes that were to die for!! Biscuits with tea and coffee making facilities were found in our room and replenished daily. The views from the lounge were superb and the bird life in the garden... More

Gigha is a small piece of paradise off the west coast of Scotland - a truly beautiful Tranquil Island. Betty and Kenny are fantastic hosts offering such a warm welcome to us after an 8 hour drive. We were offered tea and a lovely selection of cakes and biscuits all home made. The room was clean and cosy with an... More

You arrive to a real welcome-tea and home made cakes/biscuits and first sight of the view from the sitting room. Wondrous! Betty and Kenny Robison are the kindest hosts and their house is terrific. the island is lovely too- a single track road where one encounters rabbits and cattle (drive slowly!). Two good restaurants, one in the hub of the... More

Betty and Kenny gave us a wonderful welcome, and really make this lovely guest house a home from home. The breakfasts are really delicious, there are nice cosy rooms and a lovely lounge with amazing views that you can sit in. If we are back in Gigha this is the only place we would consider staying in. It is right... More
