I booked my stay at The Star Inn, Woking for a 2 day training course with work. As I booked via the website I decided to forego the 30 minute walk to my training centre for the sake of the website showing such gorgeous menus - I had even printed them off so as to plan what to eat on the way there! When I arrived to the worn nicotine smelling pub that was indeed the Star Inn, there was not even a restaurant and all that was on offer was a menu of 'Ham, Egg and Chips' and the like. Although my room was nice I would not recomend this venue at all unless purely to sleep. I wish I had stayed in the centre of Woking which would have made the stay better and been able to eat in nicer surrounds. Had the truth been depicted on the website I would not have entertained it. I have also advised the training centre to remove this venue as 'suggested accomodation'
