We were so pleased with Corner Cottage that, although we have always in the past sought somewhere new on every trip, we may well come back to this lovely corner of Kent. Sophie and Simon welcomed us into their home as though we were family friends, and the whole experience continued this impression. This was no tick-all-the-boxes slick perfection; there... More

Simon and Sophie made us feel very welcome and we had a very comfortable and relaxing stay in their lovely cottage. We booked at very short notice and even though our hosts had a prior engagement and could not be there to greet us they made sure that everything was perfectly arranged for our arrival. They took the time and... More

We have just come back to Moscow having made our second visit to Kent in a month (This time with our 2 young boys) We are in the process of moving back to the UK and would recommend the corner cottage annex for families our little monkeys (Ages 5/9) loved it:) So much so that we are booking again in... We have just stayed at Corner Cottage (twice in the past three weeks!) and thoroughly enjoyed it. The building is beautiful and very well kept and the view from the garden is amazing. Sophie and Simon are very friendly and accommodating and really make you feel at home. They also have lots of suggestions on what to see in the... More

This is the second time I have had the privelege of staying at Corner cottage. My first stay was for 3 months in the annex whilst attending to business in the local area. I failed to write a review for this stay but decided to write one for my latest stay. I was totally surprised by a couple of reviews... More

Be warned: despite the description, you will be not be staying in a charming 15th century cottage but in a depressing, tired-looking and unclean garage annexe furnished with what can only best be described as carboot sale cast offs. The archaic TV didn't work, the showergel was a sorry-looking Tesco value left-over, and no bin liner had been provided in... More

Our reviews are a bit like Marmite really aren't they - love it or hate it - and as one of the most successful and iconic brands ever, that's good enough for us. More importantly, it's clearly good enough for the majority of our guests too. We racked our brains to think who could have posted this review and the... More

My son & I arrived late one evening in June following a day spent at Wimbledon and the previous night camping in the Wimbledon queue. Sophie met us and we went straight to sleep in the spacious annex. The next morning I pulled back the curtains and was 'wowed' with spectacular views across the countryside. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast... More

Stayed here twice - Nov 2012 and Feb 2013. First time in the annex next door, second time in the suite in the main house. Loved it both times. Sophie and Simon are the most charming and friendly hosts. Breakfast is as flexible as you want. On a sunny day there is a lovely view over the Downs. Good walks... More

I loved staying at Corner Cottage B and B when there was a wedding in the area recently... a big hearty breakfast, bright and kindly hosts, and one very sweet cat in evidence. The room was quiet and beautifully equipped. I'd recommend without hesitation.

Sophie and Simon were charming hosts but we were very dissappointed with the the annex. The bed was uncomfortable very old and worn with a ridge across the middle - the sheets were old and thin. The chairs were uncomfortable - the lighting not good. The bathroom was tiny not very clean- the towels old and thin. Toilet seat was... More
