Clean, neat, well run hotel. The breakfast is basic but good, make sure you get the vouchers on time.Rooms are clean and very comfortable. The staff is really helpful but beware of the lack of communication between them! The hotel has nice grounds and it's located in a residential area, 10minutes driving from Runcorn and 30minutes from Liverpool. more

I stay here regularly for business and have to say that overall I'm a fan of this hotel but mainly for its location and helpful friendly front of house staff. The reception team are always warm and welcoming and this helpful nature is also to be found in the bar and restaurant. I generally stay for two nights and have... more

Overall a generally good hotel with all the facilities and standards you would expect from a hotel of this size and price range. Not exceptional but an overall good standard with very friendly and helpfull staff. more

The reception we got was excellent, the room was above standard for the price we were paying £60, and the included breakfast was the best I have had in this country for many years. I will most certainly use this hotel again when in the area This hotel compared very well with the many good quality hotels we have visited... more

After my last review of this hotel, I stayed there last week and we used one of the meeting rooms for client presentations. The front-desk service including the room organisation is very good (credit to Richie and the team) they have a lot of rooms available. However, the quality of the rooms is really dire. They're tired, freezing and not... more

We use this hotel at least twice a year, very central, very reasonably priced, good leisure facilities. As a leisure break hotel we find it so convenient. My only complaint would be the price of drinks. more

We were in the area for a family party, our first stay in a hotel with our twin 21 month toddlers as we usually are able to get a self catering option for flexibility with babies. However the hotel was great. we had a double room ourselves which was well equipped and nicely decorated (hotel refurbished in 2008 - however... more

Bar in the hotel is expensive. Hotel isnt really in a good location, nothing surrounding it other then estates. About 10mins drive to halton lea shopping... more

Rooms very small - especially beds !! We have stayed here very often as we visit family close by and is always our number 1 choice in the area. Good value for money also only when booked far in advance. Very friendly staff but hotel slightly reminds us of Fawlty Towers - could do with refurbishing. Breakfasts are of a... more
