This was our second visit and have enjoyed both stays here. The staff are very helpful and friendly and make you feel welcome The rooms are warm and well laid out. Beds are comfortable and good quality pillows The bathroom is spacious with a decent sized deep bath with shower over and plenty of hot water at all hours. The... More

We stopped here on our way to Liverpool airport. It was not easy to find especially with the road works on the bridge. It is in a very rundown area and the accommodation looks a bit like a container port. The bed was clean but the room was really run down with faded tiles, rusty metal work and faded paint.... More

Having left it to late to book anywhere local i had to book into the Campanile. From the outside you can tell the hotel is really run down and in desperate need of a makeover. The room was nothing special, not very clean and very noisy, after 3 days i managed to get booked into another hotel. If your a... More

This was a one night stay just before Christmas. I booked the hotel through LateRooms, and arrived and checked in. The room stunk, awfully. The bathroom had an air vent on the floor, and there was a smell coming from it. But most bizarrely, there was absolutely no power point anywhere in the room. I went to reception after dinner... We stay here every year while working in the area and keep going back. It's cheap and the rooms are surprisingly good. You get: - large tv with freeview. - tea and coffee facilities - en suite - free WiFi with good signal - good bed - heating control in each room - bar / restaurant with sky sports -... More

The hotel itself is a small restaurant with an adjoining accommodation block, 2 minutes walk from Runcorn train station. I booked room only for one night, which cost £34. I was met by a very pleasant receptionist who was from France. Room 9 was on the bottom floor of the accommodation block. It was clean, in good condition and everything... More

Clean and comfortable . Slept very well in the bed. Basic and ideal for one night stop over. We did not book a room however due to my wife having a broken ankle and on crutches they gave us a ground floor room with a bigger bathroom which was really appreciated .would stay there again . close to train station... It was okay I suppose. Nothing amazing. Hiked up price for creamfields which was slightly annoying especially when they display their usual rate at half its price of what we paid. Room clean, bed not amazing but seen worse. Friendly staff and good food.

Dear Stevesah, Thank you for taking the time to post your review following your recent stay with us. You have advised that you felt the prices were dear, and I can confirm that they are in line with the properties in the area, especially during Creamfields Festival. I was, however, pleased to hear that you found the room comfortable and... More
