I recently stayed at this hotel for 7 nights. I was given a room in the newer annex. My room was on the ground floor. The room itself had a lovely and very modern bathroom. Warning: the tub is very high to climb in and out of and the marble floor can be slippery! The room is basic... TV, ,... More

We stayed at this hotel whilst visiting family in the area. Although we arrived at check in time, the door was locked and when we knocked, the receptionist looked confused - doesn't fill me with confidence. Either way, we checked in Ok. Originally we were pleased with the hotel.. Our room was separate from the hotel building in a cosy... More

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, tidy and well stocked. Wi-fi and a great sized TV. The food in the restaurant was amazing. Can't say anything bad except the restaurant was not open on a Sunday night. Would recommend.

Stay a couple off times with my partner good value for money great service. Clean rooms. Stayed in the newer part off the building which faces Pettis lane. Actually suprised how quiet the room was esp being by a main road.

I have stayed at this hotel may be a dozen times over the last 4 years and have always been happy with my stay. The main buildings are old so the rooms are not perfect but have a lot of character and are spacious. The beds are comfortable and I always have a good nights sleep. The staff are friendly... More

Room was in a house behind the other apartments across the road from the main hotel. We have stayed in one of the apartments before but this room was different. The bathroom had a large bath with shower and hand held shower for your hair. Very good! ONly problem was the bed was a little hard but huge nonetheless.

I took my girlfriend here for a weekends break. Had a great time. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful - they took delivery of a bouquet of flowers that I had ordered. Room was clean and a decent size. Bit disappointed to stay in the accommodation across the road - it wasn't so nice from the outside, but was perfectly... More

My sister had her wedding reception here so we stayed for two nights. We had stayed there many years ago when it was called the Coach house. The main building hasn't changed much at all and the stairs still creak like hell. There are two separate annexes now, one across the road from the main building and one in the... More

This hotel is in a good location and the man who checked us in was very welcoming and helpful. However the rooms are very dated and the facilities were not good enough when paying 185 pound for two nights. The mattress was very uncomfortable and the bed was actually slanted, the curtains had very bad staining on and also the... More
