I have stayed at this hotel may be a dozen times over the last 4 years and have always been happy with my stay. The main buildings are old so the rooms are not perfect but have a lot of character and are spacious. The beds are comfortable and I always have a good nights sleep. The staff are friendly... More

Room was in a house behind the other apartments across the road from the main hotel. We have stayed in one of the apartments before but this room was different. The bathroom had a large bath with shower and hand held shower for your hair. Very good! ONly problem was the bed was a little hard but huge nonetheless.

I took my girlfriend here for a weekends break. Had a great time. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful - they took delivery of a bouquet of flowers that I had ordered. Room was clean and a decent size. Bit disappointed to stay in the accommodation across the road - it wasn't so nice from the outside, but was perfectly... More

My sister had her wedding reception here so we stayed for two nights. We had stayed there many years ago when it was called the Coach house. The main building hasn't changed much at all and the stairs still creak like hell. There are two separate annexes now, one across the road from the main building and one in the... More

This hotel is in a good location and the man who checked us in was very welcoming and helpful. However the rooms are very dated and the facilities were not good enough when paying 185 pound for two nights. The mattress was very uncomfortable and the bed was actually slanted, the curtains had very bad staining on and also the... More

This hotel was recommend by a freind who had seen the reviews in the local papers building up to he 2012 olympics. When i checked in the receptionist was lacking in customer service, to say the least. It seemed that i was putting her out and was a big effort for her to check me in. The foyer was dirty,... More

Lovely / pleasant stay .... on arrival overall impression was a little tired and in need of TLC ... staff were quick to greet and meet with a happy welcoming helpful attitude ... arrived a little early so lunch was called for ... we were presented with an A4 sheet with 5 'NON' enticing choices ... BUT feel free to... More

Three of us stayed in two rooms as we had a friend's wedding locally. The rooms were OK for the price though a little tired. We stayed in the annexe across the road from the main hotel building. Breakfast was OK, good portion on the cooked breakfast but more transport cat than hotel restaurant. 3 miles from the M25 so... More

We got a last minute deal here- booked on the day we travelled down from Yorkshire so we got a great price. We were given a room in the annexe across the road from the main building. The room was a good size, clean and had everything we needed. Comfy bed and pillows. The bathroom was a good size and... More
