The Flying Horse has something for everyone. Fantastic meals, amazing bands and the best karaoke on Sunday nights. Bank holiday Sunday's are a must. The bar staff are efficient and friendly as are the door staff. The best nights out.

As soon as a new menu is put out we always go and give the place a try. Previously this pub isn't somewhere I would have chosen to eat. Not that I have any bad reviews about the place but it just wasn't on my food radar until recently when new management took over and decided to put out the... More

£20/person/night so reasonable price for Rochdale. Room (4) good size and massive bathroom - rather tired though. Was warned pub was live music till 1oclock in morning which was ok as we were going out to a party till 2am anyway. Gave us room 4 ,then told us it was directly over the band stage area - would have been... More

I was a bit wary about stopping in a room above a pub, but as soon as I walked in I felt at home - in fact the room was more clean than home! A spacious en-suite bathroom and a very comfortable bed. With having free WiFi too, I prefer this place to the Deansgate Hilton at a fraction of... More

Perfect surroundings for our stay for the Manchester derby. Most friendly and helpful staff with excellent service, thanks to all. Four lads with taste for musik and good beer, this was the perfect choice. We'll be back at the Flyer next time. Note. A better WiFi signal would make it 5 star.

The wife and I have just spent a Saturday night here. We were after a cheap hotel as we were going to a friends birthday party nearby. The room was exactly as expected, a little tired but very clean the bed was very comfy. We were told about the noise levels before we booked via telephone. The staff (Gail) were... More

This is THIRD CLASS accommodation with THIRD CLASS management. The rooms and bathrooms are dated and have not been decorated in many years. The extract fan in the bathroom sounded like Concord. No tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms, with limited toiletries and towels. This was not the real problem. We arrived in good time only to find... More

If visiting Rochdale Town Centre you must visit the Flying Horse Hotel for a drink and a snack. It's situated in the Town Hall Square opposite the grand Town Hall, the pearl of Rochdale's architectural gems. The Flying Horse also has accommodation at a fantastic price and is a great place to stay. From the door of the Flying Horse... More
