Stayed in the dump for one night only , that's enough. No running water in the room(11) , shower doesn't work and the bathroom smells like a farmyard .I went to the reception (the bar) and told the young girl who was working about my complaints and she looked at me as if I was an alien . Still no water... More

Great live entertainment every weekend with free entry and a wide selection of beers including several well kept real ales. Staff are really warm and friendly and the food is very good, I can't fault the breakfast. Rooms are clean and tidy and very reasonably priced.

I frequent this establishment often, not that I am an alcoholic, but because I love the atmosphere, range of drinks, variety of weekly offers and above all else FREE live music 2-3 times a week with also a jam night, which is brilliant. Ben, who runs the Flying horse, is always warm and welcoming and ensures that his customers are... More

The place is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful but when its band night - you cannot sleep. It was disappointing that we were not advised of that when... More

Very easy to get a taxi to and from, short walk to anywhere in the town centre. Rooms are good value, drinks are cheap, meals were great and staff were friendly, loads of live local music every week. What else could you ask for!
