This is the BEST B&B we have stayed in . The bed was huge ,the linen excellent and the bathroom immaculate. The breakfast was superb as the welcome and the overall quality of the house. more

This B and B is the most stylish I have ever been to. It's decor is clean, uncluttered and posseses real beauty in a Georgian town house. The rooms are extremely comfortable and puts most hotels to shame. The owners are very helpful and one feels instantly at home. Outstanding buffet at breakfast plus great cooked choices. more

If “Bed & Breakfast” conjures up memories of nylon sheets, dinner gongs and cabbage think again. The Georgian Townhouse in Newark may be called a B&B but I have stayed in many of the modern “Boutique Hotels” who should take a leaf out of The Georgian Townhouses’ book. Some years ago I discovered that B&B’s on the American East Coast... more

Stayed here for one night and really loved it. Everything you could want had been thought of. Tastefully decorated, clean, well equipped room. Large fluffy white towels, bath robes, very comfy bed, piles of soft pillows, info pack, selection of teas, free view TV and internett( although we did not make use of that). Chris and Chris are excellent hosts and have... more

We stayed at this place for (sadly) only one night in February 2009. It's really quite lovely and both the house, and the ladies that run it, are fantastic. The hotel itself is really well located for mooching up to the centre of Newark, and not too far a walk from the train station (15-20 minutes). The building is a... more

Just back from The Georgian Townhouse and we had such a great stay. The owners, Chris and Chris were so helpful and welcoming. We had car trouble and they even drove us down to Halfords, we were very grateful. The room was the smallest they had but beautifully done, brand new bathroom and clean and super-comfortable. It also had lots... more

We stayed at the B&B this year to attend a wedding in Nottingham. We chose the Townhouse, I have to admit, purely on the basis of there lovely website, so it was a great relief when we turned up and found a clean, well decorated, relaxed and high quality hotel. Each room is fully equipt and has a plasma screen... more

A trip to the Newark Antiques Fair took us to The Georgian Townhouse. Photographs on the hotel website persuaded us to book our two night stay at this beautiful boutique b&b. The owners, Chris and Chris made us extremely welcome throughout our stay and it is testament to their style and first class service that guests return time and again.... more
