Confirmation said check in was at 1400 but thanks to good service by member of staff on reception this morning (aug1st) we were in room at 1130/1200. Room clean with a slight stain on carpet but hey I'm just not going to look at it. So far impressive on first view and impression 👍

I stayed for one night as I was working in the airport for two days, and chose this hotel for the swimming pool over other nearby alternatives. I was told on arrival I would have to pay £5 to use the pool - never have I had to pay extra to use a hotel pool so I didn't bother. Just... More

Having stayed at this hotel many times, while owned by Holiday inn, we had an expectation of what to expect. How wrong we were. Hotel has gone rapidly downhill. We stayed the night before flight and the night of our return. Both rooms were at garden level. Rooms were disgusting. Not clean, very run down. Wardrobes were broken, furniture was... More

Hotel out of the way in a good way. Was able to go for a walk in the country and watched flights in and out of the airport. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped. The food was average but overpriced as we're the drinks. Reception staff not helpful as they didn't no about the parking instructions at the airport... More

Overpriced for the standard that it is. I booked through Holiday Extras and it was sold as Holiday Inn not a Britannia Hotel. Booked for night before and night after flights. Room on first booking was on a floor that wasn't accessible by a lift so had to drag holiday suitcases up 2 flights of stairs. Standard of room very... More

We stayed just one night when we collected overseas visitors from the airport and found this place welcoming, clean, comfortable and with free WiFi that worked very well. The staff were pleasant and efficient and the room had great black out curtains for a good sleep. The breakfast in the morning was varied and not just cooked.... Lots of fruit... More

We stayed here in a Family room overnight on our way on holiiday. The room was smaller than expected but otherwise ok. The location of the hotel is fantastic right next to a national trust property with beautiful countryside walkbalong a river. We wentva short way butcsaw kingfisher red kite buzzards displaying. We ate in the resteraunt which was just... More

Hotel ok, but our room had an adjoining door, and we could hear everything in the next room, from phones bleeping text messages, to every single word that was said. In fairness the people in the adjoining room were not being unduly noisy - the connecting door was the issue.
