Obviously, this hotel is likely to be chosen for access to Manchester airport. Booked on the day as snow and freezing conditions made it advisable to be close to the airport for an early flight. Booked a wake up call - it did not happen. Booked a taxi transfer (£10 by the way), no taxi booked. Evidently the person who... More

We stayed here on 21st Jabuary for our early morning flight, luckily we were only staying for around 5/6 hours! The car park was terrible, the spaces cramped! we entered at 10:30pm ish and nobody was on reception, when somebody finally did come we were told they were busy sorting the safe...sorry.. we went to our room and it felt... DIdn't book this hotel directly, we were on a trip to see Strictly Live and the coach company allocated this hotel, which freaked us out when we saw the bad reviews. We were a group of 10 and all had rooms on the ground floor. The rooms were all immaculately clean. My mum-in-laws room didn't have any towels and they... More

As we had to leave for Mnachester Airport at 5 am we chose to spend a very short night in this budget hotel. We only arrived around 8 pm. Our first impression was chaos. Quite a long line at the reception for checking in, a lot of noise in the reception/bar/lunge area. The line stayed long until we left for... More

Stayed here twice recently, out of habit as we used it when it was the Holiday Inn. It's now a budget hotel and it is looking a bit tired in the corridors but both times we've found our room to be clean, comfortable, quiet and warm. It's very handy for the airport and we like that you leave your car... More

Arrived at 9pm. No concierge to assist with cases. Was given key to room in exchange for card payment all normal. Then- asked about pay and display for car as outside there are signs stating pay for parking. The man at reception then advised us to enter car details into a terminal so that we didn't get a parking fine,... More

Stayed here for 3 nights on a Twixmas break. We managed to find a parking spot but I noticed that there was a pay and display so when we checked in, I queried this with Reception. The guy was very helpful and friendly and told us not to worry and that parking was included for all guests and he just... More

Checked-in, completed forms including for continental breakfast as I was leaving 6am and paid the £6.95 charge. Was told only continental breakfast available due to the time of day. 6am next day, I was followed into the breakfast area by a lout who gruffly said it was closed. I queried that and he then said gruffly -' have you got... More

We usually stayed at this hotel when it was the Holiday Inn and everything was fine including the on-site parking for the period of our holiday. However, between our visits in November 2013 (Holiday Inn) and May 2014 (Airport Inn) it had changed hands and it was awful. There was no room in the car park for my car and... More
