It is clean, not a bad price, good wi-fi, close to the station and all that. I feel bad leaving a negative review. Unfortunately it is over a pub and on a main road near the round about. The single glazed windows hardly stops the street noise, terrible. I could not sleep for all my stay. Sorry guys.

We go regularly to watch the football but this was the first time I ordered some food. Thought it would be a simple wrap, 5 pounds doesnt usually get you much more even in a pub. Massive wrap with vast amounts of meat and a large side of salad and fries. A lovely meal. Nothing fancy in it but well... More

This was ideal as a one night stop after a night out. The bed was comfortable but the telly didn't work, the shower went from scalding hot to freezing cold, the room was not as clean as it should have been and the bin had not been emptied. It just needs some improvements as it feels like you're staying in... More

left it to the last minute to book a hotel on business so was left with no choice but to book a pub with rooms! After overcoming the grumpy and indifferent greeting from the landlord, was met by the engaging lady who booked me in and I was pleasantly surprised by the cleaniness and creature comforts of the double room... What can i say...the place is a dump, landlord is a jerk, staff look as though they would rather be anywhere else and the food was really really poor. You'd be better off spending a tenner at Iceland.

Really sorry to say after customer service was excellent but this hotel is without doubt the most appalling I have ever stayed at. Rooms freezing cold, shower broken and excremental stains on bedding which we had to ask to be changed. I really didn't want to write such a bad review as staff were very genuine but it is only... I had visited with a group of friends for a celebratory birthday meal, but it was far from celebratory. We all decided to have the buffet menu as we thought this would make the service easier and our friend ordered the fish platter as he doesn’t eat meat. Firstly we were served bread and patatas bravas which although weren’t the... More
