The Cranbrook Hotel offered a vaguely affordable place to stay outside the centre of London during July. It is located in Ilford which is not somewhere I will choose to stay again and is to be found in a residential street which doesn't appear to have had any maintenance done to it since the war. The Cranbrook is not aesthetically... More

Stayed in a triple room due to working in the area, we have stayed in the groups other nearby hotels which are to a reasonable standard however this clearly is not their flagship hotel! On arrival we were shown to the annexe across the road, the room was grubby and had been smoked in, the ensuite looked to have been... More

I stayed for a few nights. Wifi never worked and I needed it for work. It was noisy and smelly. The sheet on my bed didn't even fit. The shower pressure was poor and I ran out of hot water fast. The bathroom was modern and spacious - the shower wasn't very big. The TV was on the wall where... More

me and my gf stayed at cranbrook this summer, what we experienced was: - A topless man in tracksuit pants waiting outside arguing on his phone, not good first impression. was also friends of the receptionist. - Room was in another building and looked very run down. - A tap didn't work and shower was either too hot or too... Stayed in Cranbrook Hotel for three nights with my niece. We both liked the place. It's nothing fancy but it's clean and the staff is very friendly. Their breakfast menu is buffet style and everything you want a cooked English breakfast to be. The one and only thing that was a bit disappointing was the bad e-mail connection. Since we... More

We arrived to the Cranbrook, but we were then sent to the Park Hotel. I really wonder why that is- just curious. The room was a bit older looking and had mildew-smell. We are not fussy and were happy to have a clean room for the good price. Breakfast was generous and we appreciated that. Parking was good as well.... More

We were originally booked to stay at this hotel but ended up staying at a partner due to unforeseen circumstances with the room. Because of this, the staff organized a better room with a nearby partner hotel and a free taxi. The staff were pleasant and though we didn't stay here, we had great service. Can't complain!

We arrived on Sunday morning and we were given room number 43. To our total surprise we were given a room that had a sliding patio door which lead into a gorgeous little garden where there was garden seats that (if you smoked you could have a cigarette) or just have some fresh air in a lovely setting. We woke... More

I had to book my team some accommodation as we had a job on in Ilford. The Cranbrook was a value price for the London area. It was clean - I couldn't fault that. Would I come again for a romantic wedding anniversary, no. But for working in the area or just a reasonably priced place to stay it is... More

Upon arrival at the Cranbrook we noticed the hotel is in a very residential area with a close Wetherspoons and 24 hour grocery store and travel links within a short walks distance. We were to stay 3 nights for the nearby We are FSTVL and when arriving the staff behind the counter were very friendly and enthusiastic to show us... More
