Damp walls, low security doors, rat catchers in rooms, faulty electrics that sparked when kettle (situated under faulty tv), broken furniture, hot water boiler (that served other rooms) behind bed, shared bathroom which was last updated in the 1950's, bad smells, poor customer service ad our reservation was initially cancelled upon arrival. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

We booked a budget room here all seemed ok when we got to reception staff were great were given our key and told our room was through a door just outside reception so following this we made our way there upon opening this door were greeted by a grim looking corridor and the smell of damp and a very unkept... Let me start with the fact we were met with a £10 deposit for our room key which I found unusual to say the least , we were then led through a maze of scruffy , smelly and unkept corridors. We opened our door to what I can only describe as a squat but as we were tired and needed... More

Me and my mum booked a room here so we had somewhere to crash after a hen do. For £55 for the room including parking and a full English in the morning the room was fit for its purpose. The staff at reception were nice and I really enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. The building just needs freshening up... More

The room was vile and smelt like rotten egg which got worse every time the toilet was flushed. There were two huge flies in the room along with a couple of mosquitos. Pulled the bed sheets back to find blood and hair on the sheets. Asked to be moved to a different room. This new room had a rodent trap... More

Stayed here for work. Reception lady very helpful and pleasant. First room was in the roof and way too small so was moved to another. Better room but furniture falling to pieces. Excellent parking and close to the high street. Shame the standard of decor let it down. For the price you pay it's not too bad if u just... More

I really don't understand people complaining when they pay approximately £20/head for a bed, cooked breakfast & parking. The location is quiet & a short walk to Ilford station which goes directly to Stratford & Liverpool Street stations. I accept the décor leaves a little to be desired but when we paid £60 for a triple room on a Saturday... More
