This hotel is a disgrace, I booked in for 5 nights with my girlfriend for leisure activities around the London area. The photographs that was shown on the hotels website was all false advertisement, it doesn't look anything like the photographs shown. My room had a double bed with a worn out mattress, sink basin in the bedroom, numerous cigarette... More

I booked in for a London visit with my two girls and friend/work colleague for a trip round London. Our trip was nice but the hotel was a nightmare! The area was run down, and so was hotel.Every morning at 6.30am I would be woken up by the staff bashing about the metal pans they used for breakfast. The windows are... More

We arrived in London and booked a room for one night at Banks because we were in a hurry and I couldn't book it online but the receptionist was kind enough to wait on us for the room, either that or there was a really slow night. I didn't check the room before checking in because I thought it should... More

I have stayed in many hotels and this is by far the worst and suprisingly the most expensive! My intro says it all + a local told me that the owners owe most bars and other hotels in the area! My advice, go to Barking or even Manor Park and find a nice cheep, clean and most impprtantly, RAT FREE... More

I satyed at this location as I cannot call a hotel, how it got 4 stars I don't know how. Cleaners were talking outside my door first thing in morning , the power to sockets was not working on my first day there. The shower , you had to tamper with taps for 20 minutes to get a safe temperature... More

No high chairs for a toddler, broken double bed and not able to store dairy free food in hotel food. Reception staff need trading and only the kitchen staff were exceptional. On arrival, I found a dirty sock by the window which just started things in the wrong foot as it were. The window was closed so make your own... More

Stayed for 2 nights for a family funeral close by. Had no sleep hardly with large vans and cars in and out all night outside our ground floor window banging doors e.t.c. Only cheap rooms I know but the rooms were dirty, fixtures and fittings broken or not working and falling apart. Mouse or rat trap by the window was... More

I stayed in this hotel for 5 days in November 2012 and paid for it upon reservation. The location wasn't too bad as I was new to the area but the hotel wasn't worth the money. The room was always too hot, I slept with the window open, not a good idea in the middle of the night when heating... More

Well.... if you pay this money for accomodation, you shoudln´t expect luxury :-) I rather didn´t look much around.... there was a smell in the bathroom and hot water was available rather occasionally...it was strange, it was f.e. 4p.m. a the water was cold, then after 20 mins it was hot.... and at 6p.m. it was cold again.... we spend... I booked this hotel because the pictures looked good and the rooms looked nice, clean & tidy, but that was far from reality! The walls & ceilings looked dirty & there were tea stains on the bedsheets! And by the looks of more than half the reviews on here, I'm not the only one whose had a bad experience here!... More
