We had a very nice mid-week lunch at the Mucky Duck. Excellent pub menu with friendly landlord and interesting range of beers. Food very nice. Highly recommended. Rufus the spaniel great! There are some good evening events and pub tours to F1 races also.

We stayed at this hotel 30th/31st January, 2015. The service was great, room very clean and well presented. The breakfast was excellent, as is the food in the evening. We had a young person with a learning disability with us and he was made to feel very welcome as were we. We will visit again.

The accommodation was large with single twin beds, separate from the pub and if the pub is busy a god send, im sure. The room was comfortable, clean, warm with a good size bathroom and good shower. The pub is quaint oldie worldie, clean, bright, with friendly staff . The meal however I had wasnt very nice. l had macaroni... More

This hotel is brilliant. No doubt whatsoever. The owners are extremely welcoming, friendly and warm people and can't do enough for you. The rooms are large, very clean and include everything you would need for a short stay. The pub was lovely and cute and had such a nice atmosphere, especially with the cute little puppy running around. The food... More

Five of us visited at 8.45pm on a weekday evening. Car park empty. Climbed around the dog gate to enter to find no staff in the bar and just several drinking. The bar is drab and the staff, when located, less than welcoming. Could they feed us: yes they could. Kitchen staff displeased with much audible swearing: f------, and bashing... More

The Mucky Duck Inn is a nice ordinary English Pub. The accommodation is very good, comfortable and well appointed. The pub itself is average, the food overpriced and over ambitious - they would do better to stick to pub grub and regular prices! We enjoyed our 2 nights there but would eat somewhere else .

I booked 4 rooms at The Mucky Duck, literally 24 hours prior to arrival. The staff were most helpful re arranging 4 seperate rooms for myself and work colleagues. I had stated that we were likely to arrive later in the evening due to work commitments, which was not a problem. As our work commitments began to run late on... More

The mucky duck was one of my regular pubs until I moved out the area. The pub is quite out of the way but well worth the visit. The pub is a small classic country pub with a warm burning fire in the winter and a pub dog called woody that is the cutest. The staffs are very friendly and... More

Stayed here over the goodwood revival weekend as we left it late to book anywhere else! Although looking back at it, I would have preferred to camp at the event. It was very expensive for a twin room, £110 a night for a very basic room. Our room smelt of animal urine, I assume from a pet dog or something.... More
