Booked for one night because we needed to bring the car to London and thought that parking in the area would be OK with Tube nearby. Worked on both counts. Apart from that - we onlyt slept in hotel - fairly basic but OK

I was stating for 1 night and booked a single room at 'the last minute' (about 2 days before arrival) which I got for a great price (incl Full Breakfast). I stayed here for one night. I believe the room was 118. I am so pleased it was only one night. The place was awful and i don't recommend anyone else to stay here. I think if the best western checked this place they would want their reputation saving by removing this from the group.

OK, the room was cheap and it was a single, but it was dingy and the single bed touched the wall. Walkign across the car park, the various rooms "annexes" looked like a stack of portacabins... More

Very unfriendly staff especially at the reception. Location is good and the rooms are ok. Breakfast is very good. Rooms have been recently refurbished but in many of the rooms, the shower is too small.

Our second stay at the Cumberland but for the same reason as before ~ FA Cup Final at Wembley. Stayed two nights in an Executive Double which was larger than last time. Nicely decorated, clean, nice bright bathroom with big bath and good shower, comfy bed, fridge, iron/ironing board. Did not book breakfast but plenty of places to eat and... More
