We spent four nights and found it good value for the money. the bed was comfortable and the water was hot. Our first impression was terrible as we were given room 2 which has no closing drawers and a small cupboard though it has a couch and a writing desk. We found someone else's suit hanging in the cupboard when... More

A very nice 2 night stay. Although a little dated, the hotel was very clean. The rooms are a very good size, with comfortable beds. Views from the room are beautiful to wake up to. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Overall, I would say that this hotel is an adequate 3 star, considering I only paid £50 for a double room for one night with breakfast, not bad for that area. I would say that this hotel standard is somewhere in-between a Travel Lodge and a Premier Inn and even though this hotel is bang next to the M25, it... More

Stayed here for a night away after I got married. Didn't book the bridal suite as liked the idea of the doors opening onto the lakes in the downstairs rooms. We arrived to a group standing at the reception that looked us up and down until one of the receptionists decided to help us and was actually very friendly. We... More

The staff are very rude, the rooms are very dated probably last done in the early eighties. We were there for a wedding and the bar shut at twelve with no provisions for guests? The breakfast room was a shambles! We arrived into a room with seventy percent of the tables full of filthy plates just left there. (This was... More

First and foremost, I would like to apologize. I was truly astonished when I first noticed your comments on trip advisor, I don't believe that your comment should be published especially about the receptionist its not right and she was trying to explain to you that she is not allowed to give you any kind of refund . I would... More

The hotel is in a beautiful location. Our room looked out over the grounds and lake and was fantastic to look out on. The hotel itself, although a little dated was exceptionally clean and in very good order. The food was really good and a great range offered. I cannot praise the staff enough. They were friendly, helpful and very... More

We stayed here for a wedding, bearing in mind there were all the wedding guests plus all the usual visitors and guest at the hotel, there was only one person behind the bar for most of the time and it was taking ages to get served. In the morning when we went to the bar they had to get someone... More

On arrival the receptionist was welcoming, informative about the hotel and very efficient. My room, although a little tired in decor, was very clean and had most things needed for a flying visit. If I had to be picky, then a larger t.v. would be nice. The public areas were clean and the bar staff ok. Breakfast was interesting with antique, well used toasters that need... More
