We stayed for one night whilst travelling and we thought it was perfectly adequate. We enjoyed dinner ,we enjoyed our night cap from the bar which we took outside by the lake, felt our room was ok and breakfast was very good. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful and we would happily visit again in future.

Food takes for ever to arrive,An hour wait till sandwich was cancelled,We were told the new chef could not cope. They require immediate payment on any food ordered ,not possible to put it in your room and pay when you check out. Breakfast we got was one slice of ham and cheese, and a small piece of bread. Never stay here again... More

We spent three nights at this hotel so we could attend our granddaughter's wedding. The view of the lake from our room was splendid including all the wildlife that went with it. The room was very spacious and in fair condition. The food was of a good quality (also thank you Wendy for your daily interest, you are an asset... More

Stayed here overnight on a coach trip weekend break to London. It was a bit dated but rooms were very clean and comfortable. The evening meal and breakfast was adequate in spite of us being referred to as "the coach people" by some of the staff. It was very quiet and peaceful even though there was a wedding reception going... More

Hotel is as seen it does the job rooms are spacious and so is bathroom but don't expect a great night sleep as the mattress are dated and very uncomfortable ! Have seen complaints about noise ? I was on the motorway side and I didn't hear a peep ! Over all it is fine just for a stop over

The rooms are very spacious with good facilities, however the decor in the rooms is a little tired and could do with being freshly decorated. The bathroom badly needs attention. The WI Fi was not working when I arrived and was still not fixed until the morning, this caused me problems as it was a business trip. The food in... More

The hotel is situated alongside a very busy road which means that the rooms facing the road suffer from noise pollution. The rooms on the other side of the hotel face a very tranquil series of lakes so I advise to try and get a room on this side of the hotel. That said our room had double glazing and... More

We cannot add to our previous reviews on this quite adiquate hotel.Pleasant staff, clean room,an excelant breakfast,a good view of the large lake from our room, and in all a good value venue. The location is ideal ,close to the A2 and the busy River Thames with the giant ships on view from Gravesend which is only 2 miles away.We shall am... More

Many of the reviews talk about, 70s or 80s feel, this is correct, but its also reasonably maintained, this is an ongoing process in any hotel, yes its next to a major trunk road (ask for a room at the back - less noise and nice view) and for around £60 inc breakfast its not bad, its clean the food... We had an overnight stay after a wedding reception. It is a clean and tidy although a bit dated decor wise. The room was comfortable with plenty of mirrors. Our room looked out over the car park but thankfully it wasn't too noisy although the motorway traffic was pretty constant. The wedding receltion was in the back of the hotel... More
