Stayed here a couple of weeks ago to visit family in Howden, it was clean and comfortable, clean towels every morning. The food was also very nice. Howden itself is small but very quaint with lots of history the minster is beautiful. All in all good value for money

Stayed here on business and was surprised with the nice rooms well appointed, all the staff were very friendly and the breakfast in particular was superb! Got a good corporate rate and will certainly stay again when I am in the area!

Stayed here for one night. The hotel is rated as 2 star and I suppose that's a fair pointer. The room was small - just 30cm between the end of the bed and the wall. Nice clean refurbished rooms, with en-suite bathroom. Good cooked English breakfast. Good reasonably priced evening meals. Friendly staff. Competitive rates. Would definitely stay again. Would class this more of a pub than a hotel.

This hotel which is situated in Howden near York is disgusting. I have never stayed amywhere so dirty in my life. It cost £60 for the en suite room.
