I am amused that this hotel is listed on TripAdvisor. I can't imagine why a leisure traveller would stay here. Not because it's not a perfectly comfortable and friendly hotel, but because it's located just outside the gates to a major research facility and not near anything else. This is not a holiday spot. This is a place to come... More

When I checked in on Sunday evening (Sept 28) the lady who was on the desk was so obliging and similarly other people on other nights were too. Breakfast is good too. The rooms are great too with fast internet (really fast) and walk-in showers. My only gripe is the rooms do not have a mini-fridge and there is no... More

I stayed with a large group for a couple of months. The rooms were big and double in each room and food hot shower. Plenty of plugs for laptops ect and cable for Internet. The staff were always really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Plenty of choice and good and hot. Dinner was a hot buffet and a good... More

I've stayed here 3 times for 3 days each and can really recommend it. Large rooms, all very new and clean, everything works including wired internet (very fast) - although I haven't tried wi-fi. Breakfast is excellent - full English (generally only from about 0715) or cereal options and really nice fruit. Staff friendly and helpfull, and my boss loves... More

The hotel is smart, clean and funcational. It does everything it says on the box and was very clean. The customer service was amazing and the reception staff were great. Nothing was to much trouble. The internet was fast and worked really well during my complete stay. Breakfast was included and was hot and fresh, again nothing was to much... More

All the staff were very helpful and accommodating . The "walk in shower" in my room was a pleasant surprise , the rooms were warm and the internet speed was fantastic. Breakfast was very good and the coffee was strong !

The hotel itself can be easy to miss as you drive through the estate as it's tucked back from the main road a little and it didn't look like a typical hotel. First impressions were that it was going to be bit bare and unimpressive, but I was soon to have those impressions dashed as I found the room to... More

We were visiting MRC Harwell and this campus guesthouse/hotel is basically the only option available to stay there (in walking distance). It is definitely not intended for family/tourists stays but any visiting scientist would be satisfied. Rooms are large and clean with fast wired internet connection and breakfasts are tasty and filling. We all were completely delighted with our stay.... More

Agree with previous reviewers. Good quality accommodation that is serviced daily. Rooms have tv and ensuit. Good quality breakfast as well every day. Perfect for 24hr access while visiting the campus. You may need to go further afield for dinner as the campus diner is average at dinner.

I stayed here for professional reasons, I needed a nearby place to crash whenever work gave me a break. 3 intensive working days. The room smelled new, was spacious enough and clean. The bathroom is small but pratical. I missed the heating, it was unusually cold for the season and no extra blankets provided. Very little mobile network reception. Poor... More
