This hotel was spotless. All staff were very friendly and happy to help. Swimming pool and Jacuzzi were excellent too, again spotless. The hotel is very moden. The only downside was that the air conditioning wasnt working properly and the room was really hot. We did report this and were relocated to another room which was cooler but air con... more

We enjoyed our stay here. We stayed for a weekend, travelling into London on the Saturday. It's not too far from the railway station, and only about 30 minutes into the city. We didn't have breakfast included and found the cost of purchasing breakfast at the hotel horrendously expensive. Perhaps they don't actually want guests to eat there? Likewise the... more

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at the Holiday Inn Chessington. I had to double check the Holiday Inn sign on the front becuase it is so different from anything else in their chain. The Safari theme is more subtle than somewhere like Disneys Animal Kingdom Lodge but it still feels "right" and not tacky which it could easily... more

Perfectly adequate hotel without being particularly distinctive. I stayed there on business and apart from some initial difficulty when I was allocated a smoking room, and had to argue to get a non-smoker the hotel was fine. The room was clean and well furnished. The leisure centre was particularly good with a large clean pool. I particularly liked the hot... more

The hotel is very nicely themed with lovely rooms and a great spaces for eating and drinking, lovely views and great places to sit outside overlookingthe water if the weather is agreeable. The only thing that detracts are the high prices for food and drink. £8.25 for a vodka and tonic. breakfast £17 other than that the hotel was great... more

I have stayed here about once a week for the past month (Feb/Mar 09). Parking is good, only 5 mins from the M25 (although the road it is on gets busy during rush hour), literally next door to chessington world of adventures - a 1 minute walk to the entrance! Only down side, nothing else really nearby (except Beefeater, see... more

We were staying in Chessington as we had a party to goto on the saturday and were originally going to stay at the Premier Inn but my husband found a deal which got us 2 nights for 1 at the holiday inn so we decided to make a weekend of it. When we got to the holiday inn the road... more

What can i say? it's a chain hotel. it is a modern building. it is in the middle of nowhere. it certainly isn't a charming romantic getaway with city life nearby or a country B&B.. I stayed here for a company course- so i had no choice in the matter. Although i coudn't really fault the my room which was... more

Have just got back from a one night stay at this hotel. We booked for the Sunday night and then planned Chessington for the Monday. We got a family room in advance at a really good price - £79 including breakfast for the 4 of us. The family room was really good. It had a separate area for the kids... more

Arrived to find my reservation did not exist. Luckily I had brought along my hotel voucher from the agent I had booked with. Took a lot of discussion but eventually I was given a room and then asked for a deposit despite saying I didn't want any extras. As my debit card apparently didn't work I had to give over... more
