I stay in the area frequently for work and normally stay in the nearby Premier Inn at Xscape (M62 junction 32), but have also stayed here a few times. There have been some mixed reviews from colleagues but I thought the room was OK, although the look of the hotel is a bit antiquated. The shaving socket is in quite... More

We normally stay in the other Premier Inn at castleford, the one near XSCAPE. My Wife booked this one by accident. Its actually a couple of miles away in the old part of castleford which means you have to drive to get to Xscape. Its quite an old Premier Inn and is showing its age, the rooms could do with... Nothing to complain about in terms of cleanliness quality of room and furnishings and pillows are good my only gripe is the price of breakfast which at £8.75 is to high and should be included in the rate in my opinion. Staff are friendly and polite.

It is quite worn out and the plumbing makes noise when someone goes to the toilet or shower during your sleep. hair drier has been missing and waiting for replacement for a few months now. Every time you go there you see the notice sign for hair drier replacement . restaurant is OK and it is run by Thymes. Good... More

Greeted by Zoe when I arrived, she addressed my concerns and questions with ease and was a pleasure to deal with. Harriet, Luke and Paul dealt with my meals and drinks throughout the night and the service was awesome. I can't wait to come back here! 5 *

I wouldn't stay here again, it's the second time I have stayed here and the standard has gone down. the room smelt like an open sewer, the food overpriced and very poor quality as was the service. Waited over half an hour for order to be filled then it was wrong and didn't look very good

Had a great one night stay to swap presents with family. Had a meal in the restaurant that joins on to the hotel. Very friendly staff and very accommodating. Stayed in many premier inns and loved this one.

Stayed for three nights whilst visiting family. Arrived after a nine hour journey to a warm and friendly reception staff welcome. Our room was a family room (no 2) on the ground floor as we were having our granddaughter for two nights during our stay. The only downside to the room is that It is next to a a lift... More

Booked a family room for one night at this hotel for a family xmas event. Family rooms were very spacious and comfortable and felt very homely. Megan checked us in with such a warm welcome and was so helpful and friendly throughout our stay, she was the last person we saw at night and the first person we saw in... More

We stayed here for the night as we were attending a family party nearby. We booked several weeks in advance and got a good deal of the room plus evening meal plus breakfast for a total of just over £80 between us. The hotel was comfortable although it could do with some refurbishment as it is looking quite tired and... More
