A fantastic hotel! Great location and amazing views... Park/playground for kids. Fabulous restaurant 'downstairs'. Great room sizes (mine was). Very clean and tidy. Professional friendly staff. Free safe onsite car park. Overall... Great value for money.

Very friendly staff and clean hotel ample Parkin would use again my only grudge was I thought room was a bit over priced, I had family room. Location good, didn't use restaurant but looked busy so presumed it must be okay

Wonderful stay in this hotel. Lovely staff and helpful. Delicious breakfast and dinner I would definitely recommend other for a silent night sleep. Comfortable bed and clean toilets. What else you need for a good night sleep over.

Just spent four days in this hotel with my wife. The location was ideal for us as just a short walk along the river to Newport and the lovely Bargemans Rest pub/restaurant The hotel itself is a little shabby and the rooms have no air conditioning.despite fans in every room we recorded overnight temperatures of 27 degrees. Our room 36 was a... Lovely two night stay. Hotel on edge of river. Room had view of boats etc on river. Nice room. Very clean. Quite warm in room even with window open and fan on - no air conditioning. Table Table restaurant next door served lovely food. Located within a short drive of town centre.

Friendly staff. Dated, scruffy interior that could do with updating. Cramped room for family of 4. Double bed rather than king sized. Adjoining restaurant disappointing. Wouldn't have necessarily minded but at approx £85/night would expect more.

typical premier inn, clean tidy, great staff and good value for money. Nice location by the river and park just nearby for the children. Usual restaurant next door with all you can eat breakfast deal etc. The only downside is the rooms don't have air con, so it can be hot in the summer but they have fans and the... More

Premier Inn are obviously aware that their rooms are too hot as they suggest and provide sheets as an alternative to duvets. A fan is constantly on in the room and you are advised to leave the window open and the curtains pulled to try to keep the room cool - DOES NOT WORK. Temperature was measuring over 35 day... More

In common with many hotels in this chain there is a separate pub/restaurant where guest have to go for meals - including breakfast. My experience of the hotel part of this Premier Inn was not quite up to standard - the room was comfortable enough and the members of staff on check in were friendly and helpful but there was... We stayed here for two nights. The rooms are as you would find in any other Premier Inn, very well kept with superb beds. There is good parking on site. Newport town centre is a five minute walk away. The optional breakfast is superb value (especially for families). Staff are warm and attentive. However, the location is less than ideal... More
