First and foremost, the staff and management are brilliant - Martin is like having your own PA on hand. He even sorted the ferries out and changed a timing and we got massive savings for all his efforts Breakfast is included on the room rate and is very good - with genuine offer of more coffee and toast. The location... More

The breakfast was a lot with a choice of different cereals (even porridge) as the first course of breakfast, then different choices for the "main course of the breakfast" where beside a really good full... We stayed for one night to visit our daughter who was working on the Isle. The hotel is small but comfortable.Rooms are clean and well equipped. The owners were friendly and helpful.Breakfast was excellent. We were even lucky with the weather enjoying a rare sunny weekend in an otherwise grim winter.Recommended.

We stayed for one night as we were in Newport for a birthday party. The owner was very cheerful, friendly and helpful and our room was clean, tidy, comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was delicious and the service was efficient and friendly. Very homely, a much nicer feel than you get from a chain hotel. Recommended.

We were only in Newport for one night, but we will definitely stay here when we return. The room was small, but that's to be expected. Definitely recommend the four poster room. The heated floor in the bathroom was worth the price alone! The bathroom is nearly as big as the bedroom, and the bathtub is wonderful. We were greeted... More

This hotel is well situated for all purposes in Newport,it offers ground floor as well as 1st and 2nd floor rooms. I found room 3 to be small but cosy with good standards of furnishings and a very comfortable bed, if I had to find fault itwould be the pillows were not good enough for a 4 star rating and... More

By the time you've walked in the large front door, you have already met the owners who go the extra mile!. Big smiles and a confident welcome to make you feel at home, then shown to our room, a fabulous room with a kingsize four poster bed and a whirlpool bath, don't forget your favourite bath bubbles!! After a great... More
