Myself and my partner stayed here for one night in room 12 , beautiful room, lovely and clean. Very friendly. Delicious breakfast. Host's very friendly and informative about the hotel and its history. Newport is a very pretty town with a lot of history,everything In walking distance, always a bonus. Stayed in again but was very disappointed - staff seems tired and unfriendly - asked if had stayed there before replied yes - that was it - no welcome back - enjoy your stay. Breakfast then next morning was very poor overcooked egg & 1/2 a mushroom which had been cremated- very disappointed

We had a fantastic night at the Newport Quay great rooms fantastic owners and a wonderful breakfast, really couldn't fault anything! Rooms were lovely clean with great coffee and tea make facilities. Breakfast really was perfect way to start our day.
