We stayed at this B&B on 21 March. The staff were welcoming and very organised, allowing us to check in four hours early! We stayed in room 6 which is a perfect size for a couple, the room was spotless and had all the facilities you would expect - tea facilities, hair dryer etc. The breakfast was also very good,... This guest house is delightful, we stayed in the beamed bedroom on the top floor, which mixed charm and character with all the luxury and conveniences most visitors consider essential. The owner and lovely young women working in this guest house couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, suggesting places to visit, which suited our particular interests. Staying in Newport... I have now stayed here twice mid-week whilst in town on business. Nice rooms with character, new bathrooms too. Great breakfast, a friendly welcome too. No lift so you need to be ok navigating a narrow staircase. Lovely coffee shop downstairs too.

What a great place, I booked this in a rush and when I couldn't get booked into the Premier Inn in Newport that I have always used. Well I won't be booking in, in the Premier Inn anymore. This is a lovely BnB with a very friendly welcome, rooms that were well appointed and a lovely bathroom. There is not... More

My husband had a business trip to the Isle of Wight and asked me if I would like to tag along! We booked something a bit nicer as it was the two of us! We upgraded to the top room which was lovely, spacious, comfortable and beautifully clean. The staff we met were so friendly and helpful! We ate lunch... More

Great location right in the middle of everything for us. Staff were charming and very accommodating. Perfect hosts. We upgraded to the room at the top which was a real gem with a wonderful double ended tub in the room. Bed was very comfortable and both had a wonderful nights sleep. Breakfast lovely with freshly cooked local produce to order... More

My wife and I spent 11 wonderful days staying at One Hollyrood as part of our Christmas Visit to see family on the Isle of Wight which is Close to center of town and a perfect location for shopping and hopping on buses. We stayed in the top level room (no.7) which I found to be a fascinating mixture of... More

Had a lovely time staying here over Christmas. The location is in a quirky part of town, just a few mins from the main shop. It is a lovely old house, which is well equipped inside with modern en-suite's etc. The breakfast was lovely and our two small dogs were made very welcome. (large dogs may not be accommodated though... More
