We've just returned from a weekend on the Isle of Wight, this was made even better by staying at one Holyrood. We couldn't have asked for better. Lovely rooms with Tea & Coffee facilities , perfect breakfast and evenings sitting in the lovely walled garden enjoying a glass of wine as the sun went down. Karen is a fantastic host,... More

We have just stayed here for the Isle of Wight Festival. Such a beautiful B&B. Gorgeously decorated, very very comfortable rooms, very clean and an outstanding garden. A very dutiful host and staff. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants pure luxury. Thank you Karen you were a pleasure to meet. Lee and Claire

Beautiful rooms and a very warm welcome. So much thought has gone into the breakfast, the bread, bacon, sausages, etc. are all sourced locally and you can certainly taste the difference, Highly recommended.

A lovely venue, immaculately presented and extremely hospitable. Excellent breakfast also, what's not to enjoy? Karen and her team made our stay very pleasant, and if we ever were to find ourselves back in Newport, here is where will stay, Splendid!

Great little hotel/b&b, cracking price, Karen and her staff were excellent. So friendly and helpful, very much a home from home. The hotel is quirky, small with very personal service and the decor is beautiful. There is a lovely walled garden at the back, perfect to pop a bottle of Prosseco and sit in the sunshine as my friend and... More

If you like something out of the ordinary - this is for you! We liked :- the attentiveness of the staff: friendly chats with Karen who shared her local knowledge with us: the well restored old building: the furiniture in our room (in particular the carved wooden bedstead): exploring the surrounding streets - the old part of the town: the... Room 7 is our most popular room for the reasons expressed above; the exposed beams and big red bath are favoured by many guests. Thank you so much for such a fabulous review. We hope to see you again! More

I stayed here with a friend on a recent cycling trip and it was just the ticket. As she said: "it was like staying at a friend's house". We felt relaxed and welcome from the moment we stepped in. Our twin room was very pretty - and made us smile as soon as we walked in because it was sunshine... More
