The rooms are dirty and not properly cleaned (as the hotel is located next to a beach you expect people to bring a lot of sand in and we did too only to discover it on the floor the next day, meaning that the cleaning ladies did not vacuum clean the fitted carpet - and why would you have a... Clean, basic amenities but no atmosphere, no pets, cold staff and a pretty awful (free) breakfast. If you like the classic continental breakfast of tired, degreased ham, characterless gouda but decent bread then the free breakfast will appeal to you. If, however, you like something hot to start your day, then you should perhaps look elsewhere. The only items on... More

Hotel is very close to the beach of nieuwvliet-bad. Looks nice and clean from the outside, with lot of space to have a drink our take dinner at the outside terrace. check-in went smoothly and staff very friendly & helpful. no shops or bars pubs around beside a bakery and bycicle renting. the room was clean, rather small, bath-room large... I stayed here one night in June, while visiting friends in Nieuwvliet. I arrived early, but wasn´t able to get into my room - but they were kind enough to speed things up and I got in by 1pm. The room was clean, reasonably freshly redecorated, and the bathroom had none of the horrors shown in photos below. The hotel... More

We stayed at the hotel for two nights, June 22 and 23 2013. Having paid €426 for the two rooms in what was categorised as a THREE STAR hotel we were extremely disappointed. We stayed in rooms 208 / 210. Room 208 was disgusting and shameful – walls were filthy and heavily marked with scuffs. The carpet was extremely old... More

We stayed at this hotel in Januari. When you want to enjoy the sea and several nature reserves this is the place to be. The sea is opposite the hotel. The standard rooms are very small, but everything you need is there. When you want more space take an upgrade. Staff is very friendly, good breakfast buffet and restaurant. Free... More

We stayed at this hotel on a rainy day in November so we couldn't fully enjoy its best asset: the beach. It's really just a 5 minute walk to reach the sandy dunes. Our timing aside, we were disappointed by the hotel. The rooms need to be refurbished and are very small. Also the bathroom needed some thorough cleaning. If... More

Booked this hotel on a 3 night half board deal and was not disappointed. Best Western Hotels are usually a safe bet in my opinion so I was fairly relaxed that this would be good. After check in we went into the rooms which were basic but very clean. We had booked standard rooms which were twin bedded with TV,... More

We spent some days in the hotel in November, during a week in which Belgium was on holidays. Though it was the end of the season, the hotel was full most of the time because of these holidays. Food was excellent, and the restaurant service team was very friendly, though meals could take long if you arrived at the wrong... More
